Commendable performance by the DVLA (predominantly).
FreexPatty replied to TypoQueen's topic in General
Recently, I found a VED return check that was more than six months old; my lack of bank visits over the last year likely caused me to set it aside. Utilising cheques for reimbursements may well be a prudent decision by the DVLA. -
Greetings to everyone, With much assistance from everyone, my 2018 SE Tech has been exceptional after resolving early concerns with the thermostat and actuators. It has successfully passed two MOTs without any problems and is a pleasure to drive. I am now focused on the future, since it has reached £138,000. (mostly before to my acquisition, however it is entirely pristine both internally and externally) and I am uncertain how much longer it will remain cost-effective. The P300e would be an ideal choice for my next vehicle when the time comes for a change; but, I am apprehensive owing to the many HVHC concerns I have seen in discussions here. I have also seen folks stating it is the finest automobile they have ever drove or owned.I ask owners to share their opinions on whether they would suggest the P300e after having a favorable experience with the diesel Evoque. I am particularly interested in hearing from people who have accomplished it. 🙂

From what time?...merely inquisitive...I am aware of one completed FOC last month on a 2009 212.

If the issue arose after you had been driving it, it is plausible that it operated correctly following the component change. Was the riding height OK upon collection?

The effective functioning of the compressor has uncovered an additional problem. I suspect a problem with the release solenoid or the level sensor on the high side.

CX-60 (KH) - Mode Two Charging Interruptions Occurred Prematurely

This pertains to the Charge Cable manufactured by MENNEKES; however, I do not have the same issue when charging the vehicle with the Ohme wallbox. -
The distinction will lie in the machining process to accommodate various callipers for a diverse array of automobiles. Have you utilised your VIN to ascertain the specific part number for your vehicle?

I believe that constitutes the fundamental casting. Although I lack your VIN, item 10 appears promising, as it was utilised across a diverse range of vehicles from that period and may serve as a useful starting point.

What is the part number? Examine Partsouq for components compatible with your vehicle. Partsouq.com

Have you conducted a Google search?

No, they are not intended for my usage; I would only use the grommets if I required routing wires into the battery compartment.
-
That is my proposed course of action.
-
Grommets will be located behind the rear bumper for components such as parking sensors, and there is likely a wire grommet in the battery tray region.

If the vehicle is under 30 days old, I would seek a settlement with the dealer promptly or consider returning the vehicle or seeing a separate expert with extensive competence in the M157 or M276 engines. It is essential to inspect the spark plugs for oil and the camshaft position sensors, since oil might leak and damage the ECU.

These are the parameters I use to monitor my DPF, which may be of assistance.

I believe I had the same problem with my current sat nav micro SD card. The camera seems to function well; however, it ceased overwriting previous video and hence stopped recording—several weeks prior to an incident when my parked vehicle was struck and the driver fled the scene. The SD card had been there for many years; nevertheless, the camera containing the card did not provide any notifications indicating it was not recording, or none that I saw. The dashcam displayed "no files" on the internal screen during playback, although it functions well when accessed via an SD card reader on my PC. I have purchased a new SD card specifically for my dashcam and will determine in a few days whether my current dashcam is functioning properly. Indeed, the ACE 3.0 is quite costly; but, should my current camera fail, it is likely that I will go for the ACE 3.0 as my next purchase. An adequate camera justifies the additional expense over time. Hopeful anticipation...

The rearview mirror facia on my F11 seems to have a little bigger footprint than that of your E90 due to the integrated sensor; nevertheless, it is certainly not as substantial as the camera housing seen in your image. Thank you for the notification.

Thank you both. It is remarkable how inexpensive that dashcam on Aliexpress is! I believe I may get one of them for my wife's vehicle, since she only does infrequent excursions to the stores. Upon further investigation, it seems that BMW does not have an integrated version compatible with the mirror housing of earlier models like mine, and I am reluctant to remove trim in an attempt to install an aftermarket version. The Ace 3.0 seems to be the optimal choice. I will contact my local dealers for a quotation. Salutations.

Greetings everyone, Has anybody have experience with an aftermarket integrated dashcam incorporated into the rearview mirror housing? I have been using a Nextbase dashcam, but it has failed me twice when required, prompting me to seek an alternative, which I have discovered. Has anybody tested one of these, and are they effective?

It seems peculiar that the DC flap must be removed for air conditioning charging.

Honestly, wires are really difficult to extract. It is necessary to align it precisely for easy removal. Considering mine will be four in March, it may still be difficult to extricate myself. I would not leave the cable unlocked whilst charging. It permits anybody to extract it, should they want to do so. Will not do any harm, but will result in no charge. My procedure occurs at home. Unlock the vehicle, open the flap, insert the cable, and secure the vehicle. Upon completion, unlock the vehicle while standing, then disengage the cable by pulling it directly outward.
