  1. I attempted it first after encountering the identical issue after the unit exchange. If my fuse testing procedure may provide a false positive. I tested the fuses by examining the metal connections on the top left and right for continuity. Checked a fuse box located in the engine compartment and another one in the footwell. Are there any further sets of fuses that I have overlooked?
  2. Assistance required. My GLA220 had sporadic instances of entering limp mode lately. Every instance saw a change in acceleration, with only the environmental mode available on the automatic gearbox. I conducted a scan and identified issues associated with the exhaust flap and exhaust flap actuator. I replaced the exhaust piece including the flap actuator, which was bought directly from Benz spares. I then cleared the codes and anticipated that this would resolve the issue. It did not! I am currently contemplating my next steps in the diagnostic process. This device communicates with a drivetrain controller unit (A 000 900 36 6 or N127) which should be checked, but no faults are currently shown for it. Has anybody else had the difficulty of changing the exhaust flap exhaust piece, yet the condition still persists? Tomorrow, I will carefully inspect the wire loom to check for any short circuits. This is shielded by foil heat shield wrap but may still be exposed to heat and potential short-circuiting. The actuator I removed works when I apply 5 volts across the terminals. It is possible that the feedback controller from the previous assembly is no longer functional, but I am unsure how to verify it. Has anybody discovered the wire loom to be damaged by heat? Please provide feedback even if you have a similar issue with car types other than GLA, since Mercedes-Benz seems to use identical components across their various models.
  3. In my opinion, starting in 2024, it would be wise to invest significant funds in upgrading to a modern petrol or diesel vehicle rather than sticking with electric automobiles. It will be dangerous for everyone since we are uncertain about the government's intentions, such as whether they would impose taxes on these vehicles or prohibit them from certain locations. Uncertain. My approach is to either maintain my current automobile or switch to a high-quality, low-mileage vehicle that is fuel-efficient and has minimal emissions to avoid being charged for driving on the road. I purchased a new hybrid Rav4 a year ago and really disliked it. The tyre noise on some bumpy roads was causing me discomfort due to the continuous low-pitched sound. The engine performance was unsatisfactory for me, so I sold it and purchased a 2016 GLC 2.2.
  4. Hello The addition of the L-holder for the Recaro pole position to the components in your photo results in a higher sitting position compared to the parts I previously described.
  5. Utilise the Recaro adapter 86.83.16/26 together with the running rails and L holders for your pole position seat.
  6. I saw this on YouTube. I have removed the wind deflector from my vehicle and noticed moisture behind the seal in both corners. I suspect this may be the cause of the issue. The weather conditions are too wet today to address it further.
  7. Was the link functional? I have not attempted to replicate content from YouTube before.
  8. Main dealers do not instruct their personnel in fault-finding; instead, they are trained in using diagnostic computers. There is a significant distinction. Leaks are fundamental aspects of engineering that are no longer often taught.
  9. Consider consulting with a skilled body shop to inquire about their assistance.
  10. A malfunctioning glowplug would not be the source of a misfire occurring within the range of 2.5-3k rpm.
  11. Since acquiring my 2018 Evoque, I have noticed an intermittent occurrence of an unusual rubbing sound while using the reverse gear. Although not a constant occurrence, I am becoming aware that it occurs with greater frequency after rainfall. Below is a hyperlink to the video. Do you have any hypotheses on the potential cause? Has anybody encountered the same problem?
  12. I apologise if there is a post that already covers this perspective, however I was unable to locate one. However, my inquiry just pertains to the engine and does not concern the body or year of the vehicle. I am lucky to finally receive a bonus that will allow me to purchase a C63. In the United Kingdom, a budget ranging from 25,000 to 35,000 pounds will allow you to purchase a reasonably priced vehicle with either a 204 horsepower engine with a top speed of 6.2 seconds, or a 205 horsepower engine with a top speed of 4.0 seconds, both equipped with twin turbochargers. Please provide your opinion on each of the following options: being in favour of M156, being in favour of M177, or having no preference (=) for either. Dependability (including the gearbox) Price of necessary components, if required Analysis of stock market returns Comparison between the Perf pack/507 and the M177 engine. Response Docility/Tractability Is there a high-quality exhaust system available for the M177 engine? and maybe the most crucial aspect Which of the two options do you believe will have a higher value for collectors in 10 years? I am seeking your assistance in making prudent financial decisions. Thank you very much.
  13. I believed that the Tone Line option just restored all settings to their default levels, rather than performing any further function. I assume that pressing the Mode button will cause it to cycle to the AUX setting. At that juncture, you should have the capability to establish the desired levels, and the stereo system will subsequently retain them, just as it does for other settings like TAPE, CD, and so forth. That is my guess, nonetheless.
