  1. Greetings, everybody. I acquired a 12-plate Kia Venga 1.6 Crdi (85KW as shown in the logbook) at an auction. The serpentine belt emitted a cacophonous sound, and the air conditioning system was non-functional. I brought the automobile to a garage where the expert informed me that the current belt fitted on the vehicle is incorrect and has been installed in the other direction. Additionally, the air conditioning system is not even linked. He attempted to purchase tensioners and the belt from the nearby Kia dealership, but the package they sent based on the vehicle's registration number was entirely different to the engine installed in the car. The garage diligently sent films and images to Kia, but unfortunately, they could not achieve any success. Subsequently, we discovered an orange painting on the engine, indicating that it is a replacement engine sourced from a scrapyard. However, the only drawback is that the new engine does not match the original engine precisely. The front pulley is entirely absent, and the metal bracket that secures the pulley is non-existent. After cleaning the engine number, I discovered that the engine code (D4FB) matches the one recorded in the log book. However, I noticed that the physical appearance of the engine is distinct from what I seen online and elsewhere. After reaching out to both Kia and Hyundai, both of which use the same engine, I received confirmation from Hyundai's customer care that the engine in question was not allocated to a Hyundai vehicle. However, the representatives from Kia were unable to provide me with such information. This was disappointing. I have a buddy residing in a different nation who has verified via the engine number that this particular engine was intended to be sourced from a Kia, although manufactured prior to the year 2011. I was fully committed to it. I need information on the specific belt that I should purchase. Kindly refer to the included images. Appreciation is extended for your kind gesture.
  2. I have not seen any discernible variation in my E90.
  3. Greetings. I am experiencing same issues with my Evoque, which was purchased brand new in October. The precise sound begun two months ago. I have engaged in several discussions with my nearby automobile dealership situated in Birmingham. There are several reasons that are too repetitive. However, I am optimistic that I will provide them with this webpage and have a more favourable reaction.
