Hello everyone. ESS has just introduced a supercharger kit for the M156. If you have prior experience with BMW vehicles, you will be familiar with the equipment used in the E90 M3, which consistently allows it to achieve horsepower levels over 600hp. Regardless, the C63 kit seems to be promising due to its unique placement of the cooler. Is it superior than Weistec? I am uncertain, but it seems that they have shown meticulousness and the outcome is really pleasing. The cost is far more favourable compared to Weistec, making it difficult to overlook. What is the disadvantage? If you need an ESS tune, your Engine Control Unit (ECU) must be sent to ESS. However, it is worth noting that ESS is now collaborating with Eurocharged to develop a tune, which may be inconvenient. Nevertheless, it is possible that Acid/MSL might provide a personalised tune. Does anybody have knowledge about the process of installing a supercharger? Is it feasible to install the necessary hardware and operate the vehicle in order to transport it to a location such as MSL for the purpose of tuning? They provide two kits, one equipped with bigger injectors and one without. Additionally, several pulleys are available to accommodate varied fuel grades.
