Verify the voltage level since the battery may be seeing a decline in performance.

The automobile was sent to the mechanic today due to a complete battery failure. Diagnostic tests completed and passed - new battery installed, hoping for the best!
-
It's peculiar that the issue only occurs when using my key, and it has only occurred twice since Thursday. I tested my key again earlier, and it worked well.
-
Thank you! I will ask the garage to do it instead than doing it myself, obviously.

Successfully used my fob without any issues. Car started and drove normally. Planning to get the codes checked to identify any underlying issues and then assess the key. Can a major issue be identified using error codes? Apologies, this task is not often considered a "pink job," but my hubby is now unwell with a cold.

Replaced batteries in key fob on Friday, however it stopped working this morning. Recently attempted to use my fob again, received no message, and the car is functioning well. I really dislike dealing with cars. π€¦π»ββοΈπ€£π€£π€£

Novice here! The car is a 2016 E350 convertible. Recently, I had an occasional "anti-collision inoperative" notice on my key fob, which I learned may be due to a low battery charge. I drove for 10 minutes and the message disappeared. While starting the automobile last Thursday, a message appeared prompting me to consult a workshop without needing to change gears. There were no warning sounds or check engine lights. I drove the car up and down the driveway without any issues, but the message persisted. Utilised husband's key but found no message. I replaced the battery in my key fob, and it worked well until this morning. I received the same message without any warning, but the vehicle didn't start. I then used my husband's key, which had no message, and the car began without any issues. I have since stopped at three locations, restarted the car each time, and everything is working perfectly now. I hope the issue is just with my key. Can I get it inspected at a location other than a Mercedes dealership? Thank you everybody for your assistance!

Does anybody know how to repair chrome that is chipping off a grill?
Samuraisaint replied to OmahaKnot's topic in General
In a recent episode of Wheeler Dealers titled "Old Aaht Your And," they had chrome spraying done. The findings were quite impressive.π -
Describe the circumstances under which you hear this sound. What is the velocity? Is it a singular sound or recurring?
-
I am certain that it originates from the B-pillar, likely from the safety belt. Thank you for your assistance. My fender resonates at moderate speeds, not high speeds like plastic fenders.

I have had difficulties in uploading the photographs. However, while the vehicle was still, the pressure gauge indicated a reading of 0 bar. During a brief drive around the block, when the vehicle did not exceed second gear, the pressure gauge registered a value of 0.3 bar. I will do an extended experiment to observe the outcome, while simultaneously operating the machine to capture the data during the process. ππ»

The gearbox malfunctioned and requires repair, while the engine mounts, clutch, and fuel mass all need attention. The list of sensors installed on the automobiles has been thoroughly mapped, with just 76,000 units completed. There is no intention of discarding or scrapping them at this point, as shown by the use of the "π€£π€£" emojis. Excellent suggestion, however.

Requesting feedback from anybody who can provide an update. After clearing the fault code, I briefly drove the vehicle (while dropping off my child at school) and decided to take advantage of the cleared fault to see whether there were any pressure readings. Since there was no indication of a malfunction yesterday, the fact that a reading is now being shown leads me to question if the sensor is indeed damaged, since it seems to be able to take a reading. π€¦π»ββοΈ The engine light did not illuminate throughout the little journey, so I am now uncertain if I should continue driving and wait to see if it illuminates again.

I recently seen the video as well π€£ and it doesn't seem like a very difficult task. My car is a 2012 model, so it may not be the exact same as the one you're referring to, but it should give you a general sense of what to anticipate. Thank you for your assistance and contribution. I much appreciate it. ππ»

It would be logical or rational. If there were a leak, there would be some indication of a reading, even if it is little. Simply investigating the level of difficulty involved in making a change. I have already spent $3,500 on it inside the last several months. One would expect that it will now offer me some respite. It is a manual W204 C250. There is one additional sensor to include in the bill, and it is hoped that there will be no more additions beyond this.

Thank you for your response... undeniable veracity I own the necessary equipment, but I lack knowledge or expertise. However, we all have to begin somewhere, and it is a decent piece of equipment called the Topdon Artidiag500. I have only used it once to identify a failure in the wheel speed sensor, and it has already shown to be cost-effective. After gaining access to the diagnostic tool, I discovered that it does indeed provide real-time data, namely the values of...

Greetings, everyone. As I couldn't find a relevant discussion, I decided to seek help from knowledgeable individuals. After doing a diagnostic on the automobile, I have identified the following problem code and diagnosis: P244A7A - The pressure difference in the dpf cylinder bank 1 is insufficient. Identification of faulty seal leakage discovered. Aside from taking it to a technician, which is now not feasible due to it being Sunday and my impatience, what is the precise course of action to do with this situation? Although I am not an expert in mechanics, I do realise that short travels are not ideal for a vehicle's performance. However, it is worth noting that this particular vehicle tends to have more short excursions than lengthy ones. Is it advisable to go on an extended drive to assess the issue, or should I promptly take the vehicle to a repair and restrict further driving? Any guidance or recommendations would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

I purchased one of these items and store it in the trunk of the Proceed. I own a lengthy protruding rod, which is likewise located in the trunk of my vehicle. However, I discovered that when the nuts were excessively tightened by a tyre fitter, I was unable to prevent the socket key from sliding out of the locking wheel nut due to the shallow nature of the raised 'pattern'. Using this impact wrench enables me to exert more force. It was effective, but not as efficient as a cordless tool that can fully tighten and loosen the nut. If you are concerned about protecting your alloys, it is important to remember to get a socket with a rubber or plastic covering.

What may cause gasoline to undergo a rapid deterioration in quality? If the vehicle began operating after being stationary for a duration of 18 months, it is unlikely that the gasoline is the cause of the issue. Is the Alternator generating an electrical charge? If functioning properly, it should provide around 14 volts or higher. Initiating the process by bringing the automobile to a Mercedes Independent garage would be advantageous, as they possess the capability to do comprehensive diagnostic testing.

In my own opinion, I would strongly advise maintaining a significant distance. There have been several individuals on this platform who have had troubles with the 330e model. For instance, my boss's wife has one, and owing to recurring electrical problems, the vehicle has spent more time at the BMW service centre than being driven. An individual on this platform conducted a practical analysis and discovered that the disparity in economic performance between a petrol vehicle and its alternative is negligible, with the petrol variant being marginally superior.

It's great to see that you choose the option I suggested. It's excellent and absolutely necessary in today's day. I experienced all the issues you described upon first acquiring it. As per your suggestion, it is advisable to retain the original BMW interface for the camera and only deactivate the mute function. This will prevent the interruption of your music while entering reverse. I routed the AUX cable under the central console, passing it under the wooden trim and then threading it through the phone adapter interface located inside the storage console at the centre. In this manner, the presence of any external cable is completely concealed, since they are all discreetly positioned under the trimmings with other wires, and emerge immediately inside the storage console. To resolve the internet/hotspot problem, I simply purchased a data SIM card for the headunit. The headunit is now autonomous and enjoys constant internet connectivity. By running all the applications directly on the headunit, I eliminate the need to utilise my phone. Avoid using Android Auto as well. Regarding Bluetooth. I deactivate the Bluetooth functionality in the head unit and only use BMW vehicles. It is unnecessary and just leads to further complications. I mostly maintain Bluetooth connectivity on in my BMW vehicle and seldom use the AUX input (since I do not listen to the radio). The phone instantly connects to the BMW Bluetooth system and starts playing music as soon as I enter the vehicle.

I purchased mine from AliExpress and have been using it for more than a year without encountering any problems. As an Android user, I cannot provide any insights on CarPlay. However, I must admit that I seldom use Android Auto. When you own one of these Android Head Units, there is no need. All the applications are installed directly on the smartphone, which I much like. A screen size of 12.3 inches is ideal. Click on the link below to access the unit I obtained. Opt for the 128GB variant since it is equipped with the superior Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 CPU.
