  1. The springs on your vehicle are calibrated specifically for it, based on the number and weight of extras installed during its manufacture. Numerous forum entries indicate that owners who have installed aftermarket springs often find their vehicles either too elevated or insufficiently lowered compared to the appropriate stance with OEM components. In response to your inquiry, they are indeed a respected company; nevertheless, for a little additional cost, I would recommend acquiring the appropriate components, particularly if you want to retain the vehicle. Have you inquired about a discount from the dealer? - Consider contacting MB Grangemouth, since it may be worthwhile.
  2. The only source for the appropriate springs is the dealer; aftermarket springs are a "one size fits all" solution. Your springs are customized to your vehicle's specific choices, as indicated by the colored bands on the coils from the factory. Purchase the appropriate items in a set; failing to do so may incur long-term costs.
  3. Refrain from referencing the conflict!
  4. While this was the situation, vehicles shipped in the latter part of the previous year and beyond were equipped with the latest software, making USB updates unfeasible. I infer that the USB upgrade is no longer necessary. It is hoped that some individual possessing a recent 2024 - 2025 vehicle may provide confirmation.
  5. The Kia Connect app does not provide average miles per gallon, and to my knowledge, it never did. I am unable to address your question about the over-the-air upgrades; I disabled mine, but you were required to do so early last year.
  6. MP3 files may be played directly from it; maintain a basic file structure since navigation will occur via the head unit display. All track data should be shown on the screen during playback.
  7. Mine has an SD card adapter filled with a substantial amount of music, far exceeding the native HDD space. However, the majority of my music is streamed via an Apple Bluetooth adaptor from my phone.
  8. Thank you for the suggestions; silver is not my preferred shade, therefore I am uncertain whether to choose black or carbon. Based on my understanding, removing the wrap will not damage the original trim, correct?
  9. Disenchanted with the wooden inside and want to cover it in black. Which of the three would you recommend, or is there another option you have tried?
  10. My estimate is 50% of the cost I am incurring for my BMW 330d M Sport.
  11. I will get an insurance quotation, and it will be as it is.
  12. I am considering two distinct 2022 2.0 GR Sports models. One has the older Connect Multimedia, while the other incorporates the modern Smart Connect. I only use CarPlay in a vehicle, so I am unconcerned with the older system's latency or sluggishness. However, are there any distinctions in sound quality between the old and new systems? This will be a determining factor for me.
  13. Forscan is available for free download, with the first two months of the extended licence at no cost; the annual extended licence is priced at £11.93. When I attempted to access the tire sensor module, it prompted me to purchase the extended licence.
  14. I have not yet progressed to checking the power at the relay. I assume I can remove the relay to test the pins, or is there an other technique to do this?
  15. I have unplugged the plug and tested it; I do not see 12V on the positive wire when the ignition is activated. I have inspected fuse 3 and 54, and the relay has also been replaced. I get 5 volts in the next wire.
  16. BMW 320D M Sport 54 Greetings, I am a novice, therefore I appreciate your patience. When connecting the multimeter to the fuel pump connection (the white/blue wire and the brown wire), continuity is seen during a continuity test, whether the vehicle is entirely off or the ignition is on. This suggests the possibility of a short circuit. Each component exhibits continuity when individually connected to the chassis, which I presume is standard. Am I accurate in asserting that power and ground should not exhibit continuity? If this is not the case, has anybody encountered this issue and may provide guidance on further steps? Thank you in advance.
  17. It would be beneficial to ascertain which end of the vehicle is emitting the growling sound. There is little use in investigating exhaust noise when it is generated by induction, and vice versa.
  18. I saw a considerable number of objects on my screen after covering a distance of around 200 kilometres yesterday.
  19. Greetings everyone, I need immediate guidance. My 2012 C-Class petrol vehicle has incurred damage as a result of insufficient oil pressure. Preliminary examinations indicate that the intake camshaft has incurred some impairments (although the exhaust camshaft seems to be unaffected), and there is also some damage to the crankshaft. The engine operates with the same level of performance as when it was driven to the garage, but emits a noise reminiscent of a diesel engine from the 1980s. Should we go for rebuilding or replacing? I have received a quotation to substitute an engine with a 68k engine for a total cost of £3,750. The process of rebuilding seems to exhibit significant variations, but, it is understandable that the extent of further damage remains uncertain until more investigation is conducted. The price range for the initial cost is between £2,000 and £2,500. It is worth noting that some individuals may incur this amount as their final bill, while others may exceed the cost of replacement. What is your opinion? I am experiencing significant mental distress as I struggle to choose the most optimal course of action. Any assistance or advice would be much appreciated. Located in southwest London, in case that has any impact on the advise.

How is your experience with the Ferrari?
  21. The little micro switches located on the other side of the PCB from the battery are unmistakable. Proficiency in using a soldering iron is necessary to replace them. There are eBay sellers that specialise in replacing switches, or you might visit an electronics repair shop that has experience in soldering tiny components into circuit boards, such as those seen in televisions.
  22. Unless it is equipped with easy access and a changeable battery, the fob requires cutting along the seam since it is not designed to be opened.
  23. You are not eliminating the flaps, but rather focusing on their function.
  24. Could you please provide a blank ie delte kit, which includes simply an arm stop and gaskets, at a cost of around £15.The flaps were applied to a 640d in order to remove its operation.
