  1. I will wait for Michelin CC2 tyres in 20-inch size and get them. I like its performance on my prior vehicles and believe it will not be inferior in terms of comfort compared to other options. Thank you for the Toyo vs Bridgestone assessment.
  2. I had custom brackets fabricated. Repaired, but adaptable. I am too tall to wear both sliders and a helmet. They are now covered with satin black powder. Photo taken during a fitting session.
  3. If you own the seats, bring them together with the automobile to a skilled fabrication firm and have them custom-made. Basic mounting brackets and a versatile seat slider should not be too costly to install. If time permits, I will search through my spare parts for the original equipment Lamborghini seat sliders.
  4. The unfortunate reality of the shuttle project is that it failed to achieve its primary goal of creating a cost-effective method for launching cargo into orbit by developing a reusable spacecraft. In practice, it failed to meet its estimated cost per kilogramme for space transport and ended up costing almost twice as much as launching items using traditional disposable rockets. Servicing the main engine after each trip is more expensive than replacing it with a new one each time. Regrettably, the most perilous method of transporting men into space has resulted in the loss of 2 out of 5 shuttles and 14 fatalities. This ambitious project, however impressive, would have been discontinued due to economic constraints even if safety issues were not a factor. Russians replicated it and conducted a single unmanned orbital trip before discontinuing further flights. The Russian duplicate was flawless, but they were unable to buy it.
  5. Enjoyed it! Undoubtedly has the expected appearance.
  6. I haven't personally seen that, but the weather has been consistently warm since I acquired my vehicle. It recently occurred to me, as I saw several speed bumps on my daily commute, how well my vehicle navigates over them. Despite the twisting of the chassis, there is no influence on the interior cabin area.
  7. My car is 7 weeks old and has travelled 1500 miles. It is an excellent all-around vehicle.
  8. Please explain any issues or concerns you may have, so that I can determine whether my situation is similar or if I have similar issues.
  9. If the noise from the dual mass flywheel (DMF) only occurs at a specified rpm while returning to idle, it is not necessary to replace it, especially if it is already being chopped in.
  10. Meltarb It seems that you need to remove moisture from the automobile. I recommend removing the carpets in the foot wells and introducing moderate heat to facilitate the drying process. Obtaining a dehumidifier would be advantageous. The wiring requires desiccation, and the footwell modules need removal, cleansing, and thorough inspection for any potential malfunctions. The most effective method for drying electrical devices is to disassemble them down to the circuit boards, then enclose them in poly bags together with rice, and finally store them in the airing cupboard for around one day. If the FWMs have been excessively powered on, they may need repairs in the end. In previous eras, when advanced technology was not available, the presence of water in automobiles had a detrimental impact. In contemporary times, this impact has become even more adverse, but it is not always catastrophic.
  11. The modules may undergo repairs, and if they are not repairable, it is often feasible to replace them using the same service.
  12. Greetings! I would want to provide an update on my earlier article, sharing my own experience in the hope that it may be beneficial to you and others. The Land Rover store in my area retained possession of my vehicle for a duration of 14 days in order to carry out many distinct repairs. The manager informed me that the exhaust system of the Evoque is a prevalent problem that leads to the noise. After replacing my exhaust, the sounds ceased to occur. Due of my overwhelming displeasure and concerns about potential future issues, I have subsequently exchanged it for a GMC. I retained it for a duration of 3 months subsequent to the replacement of the exhaust, during which no more sounds or concerns were observed. I hope this information proves beneficial and I wish you the best of success!
  13. It would have been advisable to inspect and fix the driver's door before anything else. Furthermore, as I have said on several occasions, it is essential to consistently leave doors ajar and manually activate the latches prior to assessing the functionality of the locks. In the event of any complications, accessing the latch will be easy. If the latch motors are functioning properly, they should deactivate both the superlock and standard lock mechanisms with either a single turn of the key to the unlocked position or a single press of the fob. An option may be found in the Nanocom BECM Outputs menu. Choose the necessary "door unlock" option and activate the motor by pressing the ON button. The P38 lacks a mechanism to deactivate the superlock feature without first unlocking the vehicle.
