  1. Indeed, it is diesel. I have submitted a support request to Bimmerlink and am awaiting a response. Salutations
  2. It was not my screenshot; it was merely an example of another individual's. I am still unable to locate it. I will review it again later. My AuDHD is not beneficial to me either. 👍 Thank you for your responses.
  3. I am experiencing an identical issue to previous post, and they are utilising it. They also indicate that they are not receiving a cell. Experiencing rough, juddering acceleration when cold, especially in recent warm weather, raising uncertainty regarding the glow plug or similar components.
  4. Hello, I have observed individuals claiming that BimmerLink possesses a misfire detection feature; yet, I am unable to locate it. Is this functionality exclusive to specific models? Alternatively, a guide to locate it. Thank you
  5. It is the national option; any dealer may be used. My version is the X model, priced at £899 (if someone is willing to sell it to me!). You are fortunate to have obtained one. Which dealer did you use and how long ago was that? I may contact them!
  6. National strategy and dealer plan for Mazda UK. However, the dealerships seem to decline selling the Mazda UK plan, probably due to financial unviability. I have tried four times, without success. I will not pursue acquiring one unless someone can provide me with the contact information of a dealer willing to sell it. Mazda UK has shown a semblance of care but asserts that they are unable to offer me the plan (why?). I am sceptical that I will get any more communication from them. They attempted to dissociate themselves from the dealerships throughout our conversation. Perhaps this explains why my closest dealership will soon cease selling Mazdas. I anticipate writing a letter if Mazda UK does not respond to me. It is a misrepresentation on their side to display such service plan costs on their website.
  7. I agree, but why would the dealer from whom I purchased it refrain from offering me a plan?
  8. I reside in the United Kingdom. I purchased a brand new CX30 earlier this week. The dealer from whom I purchased the vehicle was not local and advised that it would be more advantageous to get a service plan from my local Mazda dealer, since servicing must be conducted at the dealership where the plan was purchased. The plan is priced at £899; nevertheless, a local dealer offered me £1064, citing that the cost exceeds the £899 shown on Mazda's website due to my failure to purchase the plan at the time of sale. The current cost of separate services at the same dealer is £1172. I contacted Mazda UK, however the representative I dealt with was quite inexperienced and would consult with colleagues before responding to me. She said that it is a nationwide service package, allowing servicing at any dealer regardless of the purchase location. Is it accurate that one must purchase the service plan from the dealership where the vehicle will be serviced? Is the attempted exploitation regarding service plans commonplace?
  9. Thank you for your assistance in this matter, really appreciated. I delayed my check till almost 11pm before I could do so. The flat beam eliminates the need for deflector devices, simplifying the setup process.
  10. Thank you for your kind gesture. I appreciate it. I will postpone my inspection of the lights until it becomes dark. When I start the vehicle in the dark, I see the lights adjusting vertically and horizontally to align, but I have not observed a leftward flicker. I will verify, however.
  11. I need assistance. Next month, I will be driving across Europe from the UK and I am uncertain about whether I need to use headlamp deflectors. I own a 2018 Gen 2 GT Line S model equipped with dynamic cornering headlights. The term often used to refer to these headlights is "adaptive headlights". I have received conflicting information from two KIA dealers, and neither Halfords nor KWIK Fit are able to assist me. May I get some advice, please? 🙏
  12. Greetings, individuals. I have lately acquired an F40 120d. I have a strong affinity for the automobile, but, I am anticipating a potential issue that may arise in the future and I would want to be prepared for it. The vehicle is powered by a diesel engine. I am located within a 3-minute driving distance from my workplace. The majority of the stores in my vicinity can be reached by car within a one-minute trip. The distance to my nearby grocery store is a 10-minute car ride. The engine fails to reach the desired operating temperature while travelling to any of the above destinations. It is evident that it has a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF). I acknowledge that I should have opted for a gasoline-powered vehicle. However, the only gasoline options available were the models with a 135 engine. Given the location where I reside, such a vehicle would have been very attractive to thieves. Previously, I would often use my partner's former 320d vehicle on a biweekly basis for the said purpose. We did not encounter any problems with the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), nevertheless, after a couple of years, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MAS light) began to appear sporadically. Subsequently, the timing chain malfunctioned, prompting her to trade it in for an X3. Consequently, the outcome of the situation remains uncertain. The one consolation I possess is that I often commute to a nearby hamlet, covering a distance of 20 minutes each way, three times during a span of two weeks. The majority of the speed restrictions throughout the route are set at 30mph and 40mph, with the exception of a brief segment when the speed limit increases to 50mph for about one minute. Due to heavy traffic, the travel involves several stops and starts rather than being a continuous run. Will this be sufficient to avert DPF blockage? One of my colleagues reported using a gasoline additive that has effectively prevented any issues with the diesel particulate filter (DPF). Unfortunately, I am now on leave due to COVID-19 and unable to enquire more about it. Do you believe that I need an additive? Will a 40-minute round journey three times a week suffice? Thank you.
  13. The '23's had the feature deactivated due to battery depletion when activated. They have been promising to permit it in the future for over two years, but I am sceptical that it will ever occur. I was informed that the '24s have upgraded hardware and have the option to activate it via the menu. However, it should be noted that there is a significant amount of variability within the system. It is effective for some individuals, ineffective for others, and sporadically effective for others. The functionality of the system in BMW vehicles is not consistently faultless for all users.
  14. The feature is not available for '23's, thus you will not have the ability to activate it.
  15. Indeed, it seems that there is moisture present inside the dashboard, but its exact location is uncertain. An expert in electrical systems will locate it within a time frame of less than 30 minutes. (If there is any noticeable moisture in the automobile, it is advisable to remove or decrease it simultaneously.) By using either clothing or a lengthy journey in an air-conditioned vehicle.
  16. Ensure you inspect the battery. It would be beneficial if you could effectively interpret any error codes. I had a defective Wheel Speed Sensor, resulting in many apparently unconnected alerts, including ABS, Engine Fault, and the roof's refusal to shut. This occurred because the vehicle was unable to determine its motion status.
  17. The windscreen has incurred a significant flaw, resulting in a value reduction of 90k. Your differential is functioning well until the moment you wanted to intentionally spin the tyres for amusement, resulting in a sudden and unexpected impact. The decision about the choosing of your automobile is entirely up to you.
  18. I applied stone chips and a door edge with a little amount of product, repeating the process as needed until achieving a suitable result.
  19. Sorry. I should have mentioned. My colour is Dark Graphite Grey (7831). The undercoat will be significantly lighter, similar to the Brilliant Blue hue.
  20. Thank you for this. Ordered a spare for the vehicle in preparation for the unavoidable.
  21. If it were me, I would begin searching for a high-quality pre-owned item, since I believe there are no new alternatives available.
