If you are able to wait until April, Jan will be able to code it without charge. Which generation do you prefer, Generation 1 or Generation 2?

Programming costs $550! I am capable of doing this task within a time frame of 30 seconds. If you own a VCDS cable, you may get the services of TeamViewer without any charge. What is your current location?

I try to purchase items in advance from AUTODOC since it is often the most economical option.

Remove the under tray to inspect the bottom of the diesel particulate filter for any signs of welding.
-
It's likely that there is no diesel particulate filter (DPF) and the leak might be due to faulty welds or from the removal of the DPF. Can you confirm whether the vehicle really has a DPF?

The coverage for the Ghost will vary according on your insurance provider. The device is not Thatcham certified since they have not tested any items in that category yet. However, it is TASSA confirmed and registers your vehicle on the International Security Register, which is monitored by UK police authorities and Europol.

It was somewhat less than £500. Visual deterrents are not necessarily better than steering locks since steering locks may be readily bypassed and potential thieves can observe how to bypass them before trying to steal the vehicle. Most thieves will not have the time and effort required to surpass the Ghost.

Installed a Ghost system since using a steering lock is too cumbersome. I used individuals that were very amiable, skilled, and knowledgeable. https://ghostinstallations.co.uk/

Greetings, I bought my 4 series from a BMW outlet in the northern region in July 2023. Recently, I saw little leaks near the rear view mirror following heavy rainfall. Since the vehicle is still under warranty, I brought it to my nearby BMW dealer today. They verified that my windscreen was changed at some point and pointed out where it was not properly sealed. The windscreen has the year 2023, indicating that it was updated sometime last year before I purchased the vehicle. Since it is not the original windscreen installed by the manufacturer, it is not included in the warranty coverage. I am considering a cost of £1,500 for the replacement. Do you believe I have a valid claim for compensation against the dealership that sold me the car? Should the dealership, who sold it as an authorised used vehicle, have recognised that it had a new windscreen?

Some remarks. When heated, oil expands and takes up more space compared to when it is cold. During extended periods of inactivity, oil will flow from the upper engine galleries into the sump, causing the oil level to rise. Oil pressure will decrease upon starting the engine as the oil pump fills the higher oil passages. The engine design includes a reservoir in the sump to adjust for variable levels during operation. As long as the oil level is above the minimum threshold and the engine is running, there should be enough oil in the sump to cover the oil pump intake and avoid engine oil starvation, unless violently displaced by vehicle movement such as cornering or braking forces. Overfilling with oil may cause the crankshaft to create a high oil level in the sump, leading to an oil/air emulsion/foam that can deprive the engine bearing surfaces of lubrication. An optimal scenario involves the oil sump being filled to around 2/3 to 3/4 capacity in a completely warmed-up, operational engine. That is your goal. Unfortunately, the current tendency is for owners and garages to overfill engines with oil due to the lack of a dipstick.

Perhaps modern autos are tailored for those with limited arm reach.

A malfunctioning water pump is often the primary reason for gradual coolant loss. This is sometimes accompanied by a little leakage from the drain hole, which then evaporates due to the high temperature of the engine. Insufficient evidence. However, it is expected to be detected during a pressure test. If the previous condition is not met, as previously mentioned, it is advisable to conduct a gas analysis of the coolant.

Excellent job... eagerly anticipating the photographs.

I activated the electric handbrake by manually holding it for a duration of 10 seconds, which triggers the service mode. This was the only method I used to do the task.

I successfully replaced the rear brake discs and pads of my car without encountering any difficulties. To ensure a smooth process, I activated the car's service mode before performing the replacement. After completing the installation of the new discs and pads, I reattached the wheels and took the car for a test drive to ensure optimal functionality. Only after confirming that everything was working properly, I deactivated the electronic parking brake (EPB) service mode while applying pressure on the brakes.Everything is functioning well.I believe it was the optimal approach to ensure uniformity and functionality prior to removing the automobile from service mode.

I have experienced the progressive impact of cataract without being aware of it. Both of my eyes were diagnosed by Specsavers and underwent a new form of contracting out at Spa Medica, free of charge. Within a year, Specsavers identified a deterioration in vision caused by the progressing consequences of the surgeries. Specsaver claimed the presence of crystal growth behind the new lenses, whereas SpaMedica attributed it to the development of scar tissue. Last week, Spa Medica performed laser treatment on the right eye. The eyesight in my right eye has returned to excellent condition. Driving at night instilled a sense of anxiety. I made every effort to evade it. The inexpensive yellow lens glasses purchased online provided some assistance, but did not provide a complete solution. Recently, I was on my way to pick up my mother using the wheelchair-accessible Viano, in order to facilitate her departure from the elderly care facility. I decided to return home since I didn't feel confident in my ability to drive securely. However, it is important to note that the cause of the incident was not related to the headlights. I am now able to drive at night without experiencing the discomfort to my eyes that I previously experienced. However, the race to have the brightest headlights is a result of our politicians' unwillingness to regulate it. Certain automobiles exhibit varying degrees of inferiority, and I have observed that Minis, in particular, possess a notable level of deficiency, maybe attributable to their aerodynamically inclined design. LED headlights are generally suitable for use on flat roads, although it should be noted that the majority of our roads are not level. If I, as the victim, am positioned lower or if the attacker is situated on a slightly elevated slope, I am subjected to a direct impact on my face. Additionally, there are lights that dim automatically, but only after they have detected my presence. Regrettably, I was seen by the menacing creature, which pursued and captured me, even when I attempted to hide or change direction, even from a considerable distance. At now, manufacturers have developed headlights with very high luminosity. Does this phenomenon potentially incentivize drivers to operate their vehicles at higher speeds? We possess really luminous daytime running lights (DRLs) for the back of the vehicle, as well as unquestionably functioning brake lights. However, it seems that some automobiles have their indicators positioned in a more inconspicuous manner, making them less noticeable compared to the vehicle's other illumination. Despite several developments in the globe, I do not see any notable enhancement in intellect. I believe my personal experience might be valuable for other individuals of advanced age who find themselves driving while often expressing frustration with the illumination of traffic signals.

That is a reasonable point.I rely on the expertise of a seasoned automotive restoration specialist for my automobile restoration needs. With 40 years of experience in the industry, he provides valuable insights. Personally, I prioritise using original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts since I typically sell my vehicles after enjoying them for a while. In my opinion, using authentic parts is essential to maximise the resale value of the vehicle. There is a firm named Wunderpartz that is reputed for supplying high-quality panels of original equipment manufacturer (OEM) standard. It would be worth considering trying their products based on the positive comments I have received.

I strongly advise against using patent components since they are structurally weak and prone to poor fitting. Additionally, you will likely have the same issue of rotting through after a few years. The most advisable option for someone with a limited budget is to contact specialist Mercedes breakers and get the highest quality wings that are free from rust and dents. It is essential to thoroughly protect the susceptible regions from rust before reinstalling the wings.
-
In the past, it just required two bolts and a hose clip to replace a thermostat using modern technology. The cost of the component is £5.

It seems that the pump is experiencing a failure.

And, naturally, RainX should be applied on the glass.

Sonax BSD is a product. Exceptional content.👍👍 When I don't want to use the Bilt Hamber Double Speed wax, this is the product I rely on. Which occurs almost every time I clean the vehicle.

The ad suggests that swarf or metal fragments may have entered the oil return line from the turbocharger. It is possible that the garage is hesitant to only replace the turbocharger due to the potential risks involved.

Recently, the inside of my S204's windscreen has been experiencing frost buildup after consecutive days of frigid temperatures. I do not see any apparent signs of wear and tear on the seals or any other visible issues. I am contemplating if the seldom use of the vehicle, with intervals of 3-4 days without driving, would be the underlying cause. Could you please provide any observations?
