Get a good look at the white sticker on top of the differential and read the number using a mirror.
-
There is a minor case difference
-
Do you believe it? It appears to have 320D cups and half shafts, as well as spacers that would be necessary for a small case. I'm a bit confused because some people have said it's small, and others have said it's medium. I just want to be sure before I purchase a new differential.
-
There's a drain plug on the side of that 188 medium case diff.
-
I am uncertain if the differential was upgraded during the engine swap, but it needs replacing on my 318ci with an M54B25 swap. On what scale is my differential? Mini or standard?

Changing the timing belt on a 2000 Camry—how difficult is it?
Bleakerje replied to DownContent's topic in General
With the motor turned on. To find the oil draining out of the timing cover, look beneath the bulge on the left side of the front of the engine, halfway between the top and bottom of the cover. As the engine runs, the oil pump driveshaft seal wears down and leaks. A lot of oil can be lost from an oil pump seal in a short amount of time, so it's recommended to check the oil at every stop. -

Sure, I appreciate the guidance. I would rephrase that comparison because most women are much stronger than you realise. -

The education is excellent. A lot of planning is required for someone with little expertise. You will need a number of specialised instruments. You can make them all with what you have on hand or with just a quick trip to the hardware store. The use of profanity is imminent. However, newcomers like you usually find a lot of helpful information on this forum. YouTube is also a treasure trove. Is there another car you can borrow while you fix the Camry? This is due to the fact that completing this task for the first time could take a few days. I have replaced the timing belts on a dozen or more Toyotas and Hondas that were manufactured in the 1990s. It still takes me around five full days to complete the whole job, including preparing all the necessary tools (timing belt, water pump, various seals, and more). Obviously, I'm an elderly woman with, well, let's face it, just average strength. Many breaks are taken by me. -

Is it a 4-or 6-cylinder engine? I'm interested in this Camry. -

The notorious valve cover might be the source of the oil leak. The big nuts that secure the spark plug tube are designed to loosen themselves. Torque them again to 33 lb/ft and see what happens. Perform a thorough job on the water pump and oil pump seals (another source of common leaks) in relation to the timing belt. Look through the DIY section of the forum and YouTube videos. -

Neither the 4-cylinder nor the 6-cylinder engine will have any trouble with this. Both of those things I've done before. -

Pop the hood, snap a photo of the engine, and then upload it. Tell me more about where the leak is. -

Presumably, it's a four-cylinder inline engine. -

Tell me which engine you're using. The source of the leak is unclear. -

Changing the timing belt on a 2000 Camry—how difficult is it? Since I've never done anything like that before, I'm wondering if it would be easier to learn or if it would be safer to just go ahead and do it. I would prefer not to shell out a hefty sum. On the highway, it performs well, but when pushed too hard, it leaks oil. It will be necessary to replace the timing belt at some point, but it is possible to delay this task for a while.

Have you had this installed on your car, or was it already there when you purchased it? If the second option is correct, you should probably get in touch with Tow Trust to find out what features they anticipate (your installer should have used their loom, right?). If the answer is yes, then you should contact your installer again.
-
Is the operation to check the bulb functional? This is accomplished through the touchscreen, though a button is also located in the rear load space for the factory fit option.
-
Indeed, it was the authorized LR towbar.
-
Was that an aftermarket towbar made by JL?
-
After purchasing my MY20.5 P300e in July 2021 from the official LR dealer, I had a towbar installed. Similar to what I get
-
Tow Trust made a great aftermarket removable tow bar, and I love it. When I connect the connector, the park assist turns off, and the caravan's lights turn on, but the dashboard doesn't show any indication. On the other hand, I haven't checked to see if any additional Pivi menus pop up during the connection process. Perhaps that is the next step for me. On my previous 2013 Evoque, which had the same brand of bar, the indicators would light up in the shape of a green car and trailer. (As mentioned before) the P300e does not.
-
Affirmative.

Is it an original equipment manufacturer tow bar?
