Three weeks ago, a battery warning light illuminated when we were driving past a garage, prompting us to request a diagnostic examination. The alternator was found to be non-functional, prompting the order and installation of a new unit from JLR. A further issue was identified, and the electrician determined that the 48v hybrid battery was non-functional. Do I have any recourse with Land Rover, given that the car has only travelled 20,000 miles? The merchant from whom I purchased it is disinterested, asserting that it was in satisfactory condition at delivery.

  8. I possess the same model and year of the vehicle, although I have not encountered this issue; the car automatically locks itself if not secured with the key fob after use. It appears that the issue with the boot may stem from a defective micro switch on the handle or a potentially severed wire within the wiring loom near the hinge, as the repeated opening and closing of the boot might lead to wire damage. Simply retract the rubber boot on the loom to inspect the wires.

I activated the boot release button within the vehicle, and it opened successfully. Upon returning home, I attempted once more, although the handle remained inoperative. Curiously, the boot release button within the vehicle no longer illuminates or functions, and the remote key also fails to unlock the boot. I must operate the key manually. Although I am uncertain of any correlation, my wife, who was waiting in the car after my shopping trip yesterday, remarked that the vehicle appeared to be locking itself autonomously. Has anyone encountered a similar experience? Where should I commence my search? Any feedback would be very valued. Thank you in advance.

  22. Please articulate your concerns in English if you require assistance. What do you mean by "getting started"? A plug-in hybrid has initiated operation despite the petrol engine being inactive. Is the petrol engine failing to start smoothly? "Abruptly, when it begins to leap..." "Advances it"? Does it operate similarly to an automatic gearbox equipped with a torque converter? I question whether forum members can articulate "what you may be"; did you intend to convey "what it may be," the issue?
