At what point did you last change the spark plugs? If altered, would those be the right ones? Did you change the fuel filter recently?

Codes pertaining to the misfires will likely remain in place. Is a code reader available to you?

Missed EML, floored it again tonight, and everything appeared to be fine. About 180 xxx km. Have a day or two off, so I'm going to go for a nice drive. Just lately, I cleaned the injector. It misfired severely during that process, as if it were about to stall or stop but then turned off.
-
Is there power to the EML station? You'll need to know the error codes in order to conduct most things. An injector cleaner, like Redex, might be worth a shot, though. Do you happen to have the car's mileage?

My 2004 C180K m271 is fine up until I let go of the handle, at which point it starts misfiring and won't stop till I switch it off. Once it starts up again, I'm not sure what to check first. Any suggestions? The lowlifes just busted my door window in an attempt to take my radar detector. I'm upset with them.

Appreciate it. Mechanic gave it the all-clear this morning. No faults stored, no issues found. I’ve confirmed I’m keeping it. Honestly, the whole process turned out far smoother than I expected. Glad I took the chance in the end.

Car arrived this afternoon. Everything handed over properly including V5C, MOT certificate and full service documentation. First impression is very positive. Interior spotless, bodywork exactly as shown in the video.
-
I sent the payment in two parts, as they requested £1,000 as a deposit and the remaining balance once the car was loaded on to the lorry for delivery. I received a confirmation email shortly after, confirming delivery should take place in about six to seven days.
-
Yes, fourteen days from delivery to inspect. If you’re not satisfied, you notify them and they arrange collection and refund from the segregated account.

Interesting thread. I’ve just seen a 2022 Audi A4 Black Edition listed by Tivanagh Transport on eBay. The price made me suspicious at first so I almost ignored it. After reading this discussion, I think I’ll give them a call and see how they sound over the phone.
-
Thanks everyone for the replies genuinely helpful. After reading through and speaking to them again this morning, I’ve decided to move forward. Just waiting for the official invoice to come through now.

I had a similar experience. Purchased a 2023 Kia Sportage GT-Line just before Christmas. Delivery took about nine days instead of the seven they originally estimated, but they kept me updated the whole time. The car arrived exactly as described in the listing and video.I was uneasy about paying upfront but I spoke with them twice on the phone before committing. They answered every question without rushing me. The segregated account part did give me some reassurance since they don’t release the funds until you approve the vehicle within the inspection window.

Evening everyone! I went ahead and snagged myself a 2021 BMW 118i M Sport from Tivanagh Transport, and believe it or not, it was a repossession vehicle to boot. I’ll shoot straight with you, I had butterflies in my stomach sending the transfer. But they handed me a fortnight to kick the tires and take a good look at the car once it rolled in. I hightailed it right over to my local dealership in Derby for a thorough diagnostic check-up. The mechanic gave it a clean bill of health. Everything's in tip-top shape, no skeletons in the closet, and the service history checks out like a charm. The next day, I gave Tivanagh Transport a ring to put the nail in the coffin and confirm I was sticking with it. In my book, they hit the nail on the head with how they managed everything.

Bank transfer before you’ve even seen the car would normally be a warning sign. That’s how most scams operate. Money first, promise delivery, then silence only a handful of proper online vehicle retailers manage remote sales transparently, and even then people are cautious. I’d want everything clearly written in a contract.

I did a bit of background research out of curiosity Tivanagh Transport is an established haulage company in Belfast. They’ve been operating for years with actual fleet vehicles and drivers, not some newly set up website. The vehicle sales side seems newer, but they do appear to be a legitimate registered business. Still, if viewing is possible, that’s always the safest approach.
-
First question I’d ask is whether you can see the vehicle in person, if they start saying it’s locked in a storage compound and can’t be viewed that would raise alarms for me. There are plenty of scam adverts on Marketplace and eBay where people send deposits and never see the car. Just be careful.
-
Hi all, Just wanted to ask if anyone here has actually dealt with Tivanagh Transport based in Belfast? I’ve come across a 2022 Hyundai Tucson they’ve got listed on eBay. The price is noticeably cheaper than similar ones I’ve been comparing, which obviously makes me pause a bit. They’re saying it’s a bank repossession purchased through an auction which apparently explains the lower price. The only thing that’s making me hesitate is that they require payment upfront. I’d really prefer to hear from someone who has genuinely bought through them. Any real experiences would be appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Additionally, smoke testing will undoubtedly reveal whether the throttle body area, brake boost, and crankcase breather pipe snap off.

Is that the short line that I've drawn here connecting the bypass valve's vacuum actuator to the horn side of the valve?

have air leaks Verify that the small black pipe connects to the supercharger horn; the end with the rubber cap has separated. same as before, smoulder it
