  2. Have you examined the promotions on Tyre Rack? During my financially constrained period, Pep Boys offered excellent discounts around the holiday season. Memorial Day is imminent. I would postpone until the holiday and evaluate the prices of all the national locations online. If you are determined to engage the local individual, present your optimal price and request a price match.
  3. I installed Pirrelli tires on my vehicle; I adore them for their excellent quality, although they are costly. The Pirrelli Scorpions were not manufactured for the 30 previously, but they are currently available. We purchased a 2025 CX-5 and prior to its departure from the dealership, I requested the installation of Scorpions on it. They perform exceptionally well on snow and ice, including both the CX-30 and CX-5 models.
  4. I have Pirrelli tires on my vehicle; I appreciate their excellent quality, though they are costly. The Pirrelli Scorpions were not produced for the 30 at that time, but they are now. We purchased a 2025 CX-5 and prior to its departure from the dealership, I requested the installation of Scorpions on it. They perform exceptionally well on snow and ice, including both the CX-30 and CX-5 models.
  5. If you reside in an area with significant snowfall, the Michelin Cross Climate II is unparalleled for the CX 30. The Michelin Defender 2 line is likewise highly commendable. Both are exceedingly costly. I opted for the Yokohama YK-GTX tires and am quite satisfied with my choice. I reside in Michigan, and they function adequately during the winter months. I purchased the vehicle brand new in November 2021, and the initial task was to dispose of the dreadful Turanza tires.
  6. Despite the tire rotations and alignments, I anticipated those tires would require replacement much sooner. Their tread depth is not comparable to that of numerous other tires, and I have encountered numerous accounts of individuals needing to replace them earlier. I recently replaced the brakes for the first time at 51,000 miles, and I anticipated their replacement would occur much earlier, considering the experiences shared by numerous other CX-30 owners.
  7. I acquired my vehicle as a certified pre-owned, thus I am not excessively indulging in expenditures on it. I intend to exchange it within approximately a year. I am astonished that your BT tires endured for such an extended period. My duration was just under 40,000. I take responsibility; I have not been diligent with tyre rotations and alignments as you have. Thus, yet another lesson has been acquired…
  8. Amazon.co.uk : michelin crossclimate 2
  9. I am scheduled to have my tires changed tomorrow. The initial Bridgestone Turanza tires endured for 52,000 miles. I have been meticulous in rotating the tires every 5,000 miles and performing alignments at 15,000 miles, yet I am still astonished that the tires endured for such a duration. I opted for the Continental Crosscontact LX25 tires as the substitutes. I have perused numerous reviews and had several acquaintances install these tires on their vehicles (including a CX-30), and they have expressed considerable satisfaction with the handling, traction, noise, and other aspects. I also contemplated the Michelin Crossclimate 2, Michelin Defender 2, Yokohama Geolander, among several others. The Contis appeared to fulfilll the criteria I sought and were priced more favourably than the alternatives I evaluated.
  10. Amazon.co.uk : Mazda CX-30 tires
  11. At 39,000 miles, tyre replacements were advised. I visited a nearby tyre establishment, and was advised: Bridgestone (included with the vehicle, beyond my financial means), Summit Trail Climber SUV2, and Arroyo tires. The individual within that arroyo asserts that the tires are excellent for their cost. I prioritise safety immensely. Is anyone acquainted with brands aside from Bridgestone? If that is the case, what are your thoughts? I appreciate it!
  12. Last week
  13. The Tucson arrived today. Driver called roughly 40 minutes beforehand because he wanted to check access for the lorry. First impressions are really good. Interior is spotless, bodywork looks as it did in the photos and the paperwork was together in a folder rather than scattered around the glovebox
  14. Quick update! Payment was sorted yesterday morning and I received confirmation from the finance side afterwards. They've provisionally got delivery down for next week. Now comes the part where I stare suspiciously at my phone every time it rings for the next seven days
  15. Hi everyone I've been looking at a 2020 Mercedes V-Class they've got advertised. Found this thread while searching the company name. Not saying I'm convinced yet, but at least there are some sensible questions being asked here rather than twenty replies saying either "SCAM!!!" or "100% LEGIT MATE" with no explanation.
  16. Same here and I still ended up buying remotely 😂 Funny how a decent saving changes your principles.
  17. Good point when people hear "segregated account" and automatically translate it as "escrow". They're not necessarily the same thing
  18. I used to work on the finance/admin side of a similar fictional transport business before moving to Manchester. The basic idea behind a segregated business account is that vehicle related funds are kept separate from ordinary operating money. But don't assume the word "segregated" automatically means you're protected That's the bit I'd want clarified before sending anything.
  19. I've decided to take the chance on a 2022 Hyundai Tucson Premium they've got, the price is good without being completely ridiculous. Just waiting for the invoice now, the payment will go into a segregated business account. I'll keep this updated because I hate finding threads like this on Google where the OP vanishes halfway through 😂
  20. My mum bought a 2021 Renault Captur through Mcerlane Logistics earlier this year. She's in Aberdeen so Belfast wasn't exactly around the corner and the delivery was 9 days from memory. Car came with the paperwork she'd been expecting and she had her local garage check it afterwards. She's still got it and loves the thing!
  21. That's how I'd approach it inspection period is pointless if you don't actually inspect the thing
  22. Yep, I did purchased a bimmer 3 series from Mcerlane Logistics and I was pretty uncomfortable with the whole buying-unseen thing at first, but communication was decent. Got updates while it was being prepared and another one when transport was being arranged.
  23. I actually rang them this morning and asked exactly that. Interesting bit is they explained that their 14 day inspection/money back period is for vehicles bought through the delivery programme. If I travel over, inspect it myself and collect it, that particular return arrangement doesn't apply. So now I'm debating whether to get a flight over and see it myself or just have it delivered. Anyone here actually gone down the delivery route?
  24. If Mcerlane Logistics says the car is "In secure storage and unfortunately nobody is allowed access" would have me closing the laptop pretty quickly If they're genuine and actually have possession of the vehicle, asking for a viewing shouldn't cause a drama
