Markwe
At speeds beyond 60 mph, I perceive a pulsating drone when cruising. It almost appears that the vehicle is in an excessively high gear. Approximately 2000 revolutions per minute. The sound evokes memories of the enormous freezers found in supermarkets that operate with a persistent hum. It is not overwhelming, yet it is perceptible. I have created a sound recording that resembles the noise in the car (please increase the volume): Droning Noise in BMW 435i It would be beneficial to ascertain whether this is their inherent nature. Markwe
Salutations. I will attempt to record the sound and upload it. It is situated in the lower end of the spectrum. Appears to be more related to the engine or drivetrain. Recently changed the gearbox oil, although there has been no alteration in the sound. I have had analogous noise when the handbrake shoes were binding.
