Anhartic
Does the brake light activate when decelerating the engine when utilising adaptive cruise control?
Kenjibb
Are you referring to the manual gear shift option?
Anhartic
No, I am referring to all situations. The automobile is decelerating, but I am uncertain if it is utilising the engine or the brakes to do so. I believe it would be beneficial for the vehicles following you, as the braking motion might be quite abrupt.
Sumoto
Presumably, you are referring to the scenario in which the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) detects a deceleration ahead and engages the brakes; otherwise, a rear-end collision with trailing vehicles would occur. Liveek
The brake lights will engage automatically.
Sumoto
It is quite evident, indeed. Otherwise, there would be numerous shunts daily, as the majority of relatively new vehicles are equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC).
