Malfunction of the emergency call system

The persistent malfunction of the SOS call system is causing me much frustration. It consistently emerges when starting the vehicle and remains unresolved. Although it temporarily disappeared on two occasions, it subsequently reappeared. The warranty provided by BMW has now expired. Does anybody has the knowledge to rectify this issue?

The most probable cause is that the telematics battery has depleted.

Depending on the location of your tele battery, the task may be easily accomplished. Some batteries are situated in the top portion of the rear seat for passenger access, while others, like mine, are located in the boot. The replacement process takes about a minute. In April, I purchased a battery for £28, but now, the price has doubled at LLLparts for a genuine BMW battery.
