JetstreamJay
Greetings, The air conditioning in my 2011 GL350 Blue Efficiency fails to provide cold air. All systems seem to be functioning well; I have examined the air temperature sensors using my iCarsoft, and no issues have been detected. It has never effectively cooled the incoming air since I acquired it, and using the system for over 15 minutes yields no improvement in the air supply temperatures inside the vehicle. The nearby garage has replenished the system's refrigerant. They extracted 750g of petrol and replaced it with 950g. The hoover test and other assessments were successfully completed with no leakage detected. The Icarsoft indicates a system pressure of 6.5 bar, but I am uncertain of its location (before or post-evaporator, etc.). The feature on the Icarsoft indicates that the compressor's duty is being appropriately requested, reaching 100% when fully cold, and gradually decreasing when the AC is turned off, in accordance with the control functionality. Do you have any suggestions on potential issues or methods for physically inspecting components to ascertain functionality before consulting a local mechanic?I seen a video on YouTube about possible collapsed compressor pipes, but I am uncertain whether that pertains to these automobiles. Thank you for your assistance.
Lemmand
The vacuum test is inferior in accuracy compared to the pressure test, which, when combined with dye, is more effective in identifying leakages.

Uneripty
Occasionally, it is necessary to reset the system. I had to do this task on a friend's W220 S500. The shop informed him that a new compressor was necessary at a cost of $1500 due to its failure to engage. I reset the temperature control panel and added 1 pound of R134a, then allowed him to go. Why is the compressor always the issue?
Preedom
^^^X2 Conduct a test run without the cabin filter to eliminate it as a variable.
Mezuzzi
The vacuum pump maintained a vacuum for 45 minutes but lost charge overnight. Upon pressurising the system with air, a nitrogen leak in the evaporator was ultimately identified.
HolyRoach
The actual pressure differential between the low and high sides is more significant than only the measurement of the high-pressure side.
