I included this in my welcome post, which I now recognize as inappropriate. I am on the verge of finalizing the purchase of a 2010 W212 E350CDI estate. The specifications are shown below. This is my first motherboard; are these specifications enough, or should I seek features that are clearly lacking? Analysis of many threads indicates it is well equipped.

Additionally, Night View Assist. Suitable for pub top trumps. Does your vehicle own an infrared camera with a display on the dashboard? Negative? Mine has.


I believe it is intended for detecting deer at distances above the range of your lights at nighttime.

I never encounter darkness sufficient for it to be advantageous; however, I find it beneficial during heavy rain, since it allows for good visibility of cars obscured by spray to the unaided eye.

Fortunately, none of them has yet arrived in Devon; nevertheless, I own an A3 hybrid as an option.

Progress report on this discussion. Ultimately, I did not purchase it. The photographs were rather flattering, and the vehicle was positioned on its haunches at the near side rear (NSR). It seems that one suspension airbag and compressor were replaced last year, whereas the NSR bag was not. Perhaps it is an airline issue. He did propose a reduction of £250. Given the deteriorated state and the absence of proof about the replacement of oil seals (although I did not see any indications, as access underneath them is restricted), I opted not to take the chance. There will undoubtedly be others.
