Should I get my vehicle serviced at my Mercedes Specialists, incurring a potential £1500 expense, and subsequently request a higher price, or should I sell it as is for a slightly reduced amount compared to the quoted price? If you are pursuing a private sale, the opposite applies. Unusual defects will deter private buyers, who are likely to assume that repairs have not been undertaken due to their high cost.
