One hundred percent or eighty percent

Hello everyone, I am considering acquiring a C300e. Should I aim to charge to 100% or 80%, similar to a BHEV?
I currently possess a Passat, which can be charged to 100% as it is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). The general consensus is that batteries exhibit greater resilience, and the range is limited even without deducting 20%.

Consistently charging to 100% may diminish the anticipated lifespan; however, it is not the sole determinant, and other factors may also precipitate a reduction in longevity.

Regularly charging to 80%, occasionally to 100%, and occasionally depleting to 10% will contribute to the longevity of your battery's health.

It appears to me, based on previous exchanges I have observed, that the prevailing mindset is:

If the vehicle is leased or under a Personal Contract Purchase for several years and subsequently exchanged for another, consistently charge it to 100%, as any decline in battery life will be the concern of the next owner.

If the car is retained, charging to 80% initially is often preferable for long-term battery health.

The individuals I am acquainted with who possess electric vehicles, predominantly representatives, typically charge to 80% but will charge to 100% if they anticipate a lengthy drive the following day. Similar to my internal combustion engine vehicle, I often invest fifty or sixty pounds in fuel; but, for a journey to Hull, I require a full tank.
