Issue with the alloy wheels of the 2006 W203 model

I own a 2006 C200 W203 with 84,000 miles on the odometer. I have had an issue with the rear tire maintaining pressure. It would decrease by around 1 pound daily. I replaced the worn rear tires with Michelin CrossClimate. To my astonishment, the offside tire continues to lose pressure. The business remounted the tire, nevertheless it continues to leak. Do alloy wheels develop porosity? Is this issue resolvable? How is that the case? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Compromised beading surface, undetected hairline fracture, or leaky valve...however, that should be substituted with each tire replacement. Porous wheels can occur, but seldom, and are often associated with significant bubbling and corrosion.

I encountered this issue. The solution included eliminating any debris from the rim beads and applying a swift layer of bead sealant. Has been satisfactory for two years now. I experience little to no pressure drop between inspections.
