Nekomp
Greetings, everyone. I need some assistance, please. I am substituting a broken slam panel on my 2009 e91, and I am unable to identify the location from where I removed the shown component. I am uncertain about its role as well, to be honest. I presume there is a solenoid for the air intake flaps in the slam panel. Could someone provide guidance on its appropriate placement?

Lemmand
It is uncertain; it seems to be a malfunctioning parking sensor, but the poor quality of the image leaves room for speculation.

Cassole
That is what I executed. Control of air flap. You should search for that section online to determine its appropriate placement.
