Drain plug for the W219 OM642 engine block

Firstly, please provide your insights on purging the coolant system. Kindly provide the location of the drain plug for the engine block on an E320. Finally, if I do not cleanse the system, I believe I should at least detach the lower radiator line and direct a clean flow of water, maybe via the coolant expansion tank or the upper radiator hose. If it resembles the E350 OM642, it is located in the lower section of the radiator. Twist and partly extract to facilitate the drainage of coolant via the stopper.

Indeed. Are you enquiring whether there is a certain plug on the block? I would presume that it is not the case and would choose for the lower coolant pipe, as you said.

I am certain that there will be. Otherwise, how can you eliminate all contaminants from the system? Or at least 90%

I am not asserting that it lacks one; rather, it has been around 20 years since I saw a vehicle with such a feature, leading me to speculate otherwise. It is standard practice to drain from the bottom of the radiator, which is often the lowest position in the cooling system for loud vehicles. Subsequently, cleanse the system with a hose, followed by distilled water, and then refill.
