I own a r171 vehicle that has succumbed to significant mechanical damage and is now obtainable for spare parts. I would want to enquire if the dimensions of the windscreens are same (except the variation in electronics), and whether the installation of a glass panoramic roof would need any modifications to the metal roof. They seem quite comparable, but I would need to confirm as the vehicle I am considering as a potential donor is over 100 miles away from my location. engrol Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 I saw a vandalised SLK vehicle listed on Copart's website. Both the front and back displays are shattered. Both items are readily available on eBay at a very affordable price. I verified throughout the auction.
