Videoman
I am attempting to download the latest navigation updater on my laptop. However, Microsoft states that there is no licence available. Is there any other method to bypass this restriction so that I may transfer the updater onto a flash drive and subsequently into the vehicle system? Thank you in advance. Bedelon
Verify your firewall settings, since I had difficulties while first installing the software.

Jollyno
No licence required. Are you retrieving data from the Kia website?

Videoman
Thank you, Jollyno. Yes, that is the specific document I am attempting to download. The download process begins well, but when I go to view the paper, Microsoft informs me that it is not licenced, as indicated in their thread. Authorce
It has been a considerable amount of time since I last engaged in this activity. I had the impression that Microsoft had eliminated this little issue. It is possible that the issue is caused by a firewall, however I am uncertain. I believe it is more likely to be a security option exclusive to Microsoft. If the software does not possess a Microsoft-approved licence, Windows will block it from loading. To get the desired setting on Windows 11, go to Windows Settings, then proceed to applications, followed by Advanced App Settings. From there, choose the option labelled Choose Where to obtain applications, and finally, decide for one of the available Anywhere alternatives. My preference is set to "Any location, but please inform me if there is a similar application available in the Microsoft Store."
Videoman
Thank you everyone. I have resolved the issue, which was related to Windows 11. Microsoft restricts downloads that are not available in the App Store. Fortunately, I had a laptop equipped with Windows 10, which enabled me to effortlessly download the desired content. Once again, I would want to express my gratitude to my fellow Kia members for your assistance and for providing potential explanations for the difficulties I was experiencing. You are really commendable.
Authorce
Remember to reactivate the firewall.
SlayNeo
Upon recollection, I realised that it was not the firewall that was causing the issue, but rather AVG was preventing the download from progressing past 80%. I believe I had to go the AVG settings in order to grant it authorization.
Dudeta
I encountered a situation where AVG was indiscriminately obstructing various items, even some that were previously approved, and despite my attempts to resolve the problem and the AVG developers' lack of response across numerous updates, I decided to abandon what was once a commendable antivirus programme and transitioned to AVAST.
