The codes suggest a potential problem with the CMP (Camshaft Position) sensor. Where is the CMP located on this? I presume it is positioned on the rear near the rocker, as indicated by the label "exhaust". Is it sufficiently straightforward to replace? ================================= OBD-II DTCs: 2 ---------------------------- P0340 [0x0340] The camshaft position (CMP) sensor A, bank 1 is experiencing a problem in its circuit. Confirmation received. Code P0014 The hexadecimal value [0x0014] represents a specific memory address or data value. The exhaust/right/rear camshaft position (CMP) actuator in bank 1 is experiencing timing over-advanced and system performance issues. engrol Posted May 22 Share Posted May 22 Perform an initial deletion and see whether it reappears before making any changes, since they often emerge without any apparent cause. If you need to replace it, ensure that you choose an authentic Kia component. Due to the lack of compatibility, Kia and Hyundai vehicles often do not function properly with Pat components.
