Spiderer
Greetings, everybody. I have had a CLS55 for a few years and get much pleasure from using and observing it when it is functioning well. I have seen some CLS 55s exhibiting bigger wheels, which give them a visually striking appearance. However, I acknowledge that increasing the size of the alloys may result in a rigid and unpleasant ride. Therefore, I am considering a decision to increase the supply from 18" to 19". However, while I have come across a wheel that I find visually appealing, if rather "Euro", it is very hard to see it being mounted on the automobile. I need replacing the rear tyres, as the original wheels are nearing the point where they require refurbishment. Therefore, it seems to be the opportune moment to align all the tyres and rejuvenate the appearance simultaneously. I am essentially seeking views. An assessment of mental stability. Thank you very much.
AmericaMonster
Aftermarket alloys can seem unattractive. Have you examined the 19s that were originally offered from the factory?
Spiderer
I am unable to afford any recently released items, however I have come across a few sets on Ebay that I find rather attractive. Thank you for the comment.

AmericaMonster
Having an item that has previously been refurbished or something that needs to be refurbished can assist to reduce the price. Examine vehicles that are being dismantled for spare parts and determine whether any of them has a complete set of wheels.
Spiderer
Thank you very much. I, too, encountered this webpage. The CLS is from an incorrect age, requiring some cognitive effort to comprehend. An alternative course of action would include replacing my tyres and engaging in unwise behaviour elsewhere, such as acquiring a 77mm SC pulley kit or importing headers. Istairde
Considering the condition of the roads, I would examine a group of 13 vehicles equipped with 150 profile tyres. To clarify, I substituted the 18 seconds on the CLS with 19 seconds, and after a span of 5 minutes of driving, the disparity became apparent, and it was not favourable. Dudeta
If you relocate to the 19th century, it may be advantageous to purchase 5 of them as a precautionary measure against pothole cracks.
bourhay
When I wear out the subpar Flintstone run flats, the 19's on my 3 Series are undoubtedly worn out. If possible, I would go for 17's; however, they are not compatible with the front callipers, thereby necessitating the use of 18's on appropriate tyres. AmericaMonster
The performance of the EQE on 20s surpasses that of the preceding 2017 c-class on 18s.
