Ledgerciao
Greetings, everybody. Recently, I have been hearing a rattling noise from the B-pillar region on the driver's side of my car in Germany when the temperature dropped. Has anybody experienced this before? The rattling noise is increasing in volume daily and has become very bothersome. Perhaps someone has knowledge of this and can assist me. I may give you an audio recording via private message. Freelele
Yes, I also had that. Instructed my dealer to identify and repair the issue, resulting in the current silence.
Ledgerciao
Can you describe the actions of your dealer? Regrettably, my dealer is unable to find it.
Freelele
Inquired of him. The safety belt was rattling against the car's frame as far as he could recall. Your dealer should locate a rough road to replicate it. Then fix it. Best wishes
Talentrews
Hello, have you found a solution? I now own the same.
Mastervest
There is no pillar present. Instead, while opening the driver's door, a black plastic piece can be seen on the fender side. That is the source of the noise. The pillar is empty.
Mastervest
Initially, I believed they were distinct noises. The sound from the plastic piece on the fender is transmitted to the door, which echoes at ear level in the B-pillar. I visited the service centre where they made adjustments or replacements, resulting in the issue being resolved and the device now operating quietly. Samuraisaint
I am certain that it originates from the B-pillar, likely from the safety belt. Thank you for your assistance. My fender resonates at moderate speeds, not high speeds like plastic fenders.
