What code on the VIN printout signifies that a vehicle has HOLD? Is this feature exclusive to MB engines rather than non-MB engines found in models such as A and B class?

You are not required to operate it. Engage the gear...apply significant pressure on the brake pedal. The HOLD indicator must light up on the dashboard and remain stationary when you release the brake until you depress the accelerator. My 212 model from 2010 possesses it, whereas our 2006 A Class lacks it.

The 639s did not receive it until post-2014. Our 2014 Viano lacks that feature.
E classes possessed it during the same period that C classes lacked it. I am uncertain when C acquired it, but I suspect it would be the 204.
