Years ago, when my sister-in-law purchased a caravan and used Elbow Grease to clean every surface (inside and out), I first heard of it. The caravan came up like new after that.

It turned out that someone suggested it to her as she waited for her children outside the school gates. The mothers of a small number of the children belonged to the nomadic people and took great pride in it.
