Isn't SRS the system for airbags and seatbelts? A dual axle is inherently more stable than a single axle, hence it ought to perform well even at a rather high match %. Aside from the limp mode issue 😄 ATC should be used seldom, since it may adversely affect the brakes; within 12 months, my vehicle wore down a set of pads to the extent that one drum was scored and required replacement, despite my not seeing any intervention. What are the tire pressures for both the vehicle and the caravan? Does the automobile manual include towing suggestions, including the suggestion to elevate tire pressures to the maximum rated levels (full load/high speed) to enhance resistance to lateral forces?
-
Are you certain that the problem does not pertain to the caravan? Does it have AL-KO ATC? The system engages the caravan brakes upon detecting swaying, which may be influencing the car's response. Is this caravan a single or double axle, and what is its Maximum Technically Permissible Laden Mass (MTPLM)? What is the towing capability shown on the vehicle's plate? What is the duration of your use of this combination?

Defective interior door knobs are a recognized issue on 204 models. Repair kits are easily accessible on eBay and similar platforms.

Excellent specifications. Notable features include Nappa leather, Distronic, sunroof, Intelligent Light System, Memory Pack, TPMS, and DAB.

If I locate it, I will verify; I am confident I tested it upon acquisition, but I cannot recall whether it would initiate the vehicle. I contacted the local main dealer to enquire about obtaining the code for my security nut, and during the conversation, I also asked about the cost of a replacement key. He indicated that if they can still acquire them, the price would be approximately £180. Fifty percent less than Timpsons!
-
Thank you for the responses. Indeed, I am certain that Timpsons is profiting significantly from customers who pay those prices; it is likely that their charges exceed those of primary dealers currently. Appears excessive for rather uncomplicated keys. I recall being charged significantly less for a key from a Mercedes main dealer several years ago for a key from a comparable model year. Thank you for the caution regarding the AK90+; they appear to be quite perilous based on my observations. I possess a second key that was provided with the vehicle, but it has never functioned properly. I assumed the battery was depleted due to disuse, but perhaps I can locate it to either rejuvenate or replace it.

I might need to pursue key cutting as a hobby.

Greetings to everybody, Has anyone recently had a key duplicated at a fair price? I contacted Timpson to enquire about the cost of duplicating a key for my E53; it is approximately £350 for a vehicle that is 20 years old, astonishing! They stated that they do not manufacture them; rather, they procure them directly from BMW. I will program the key myself; I have bought an AK90+ programmer, which should facilitate the coding process. I merely require a blade cut. I would purchase a £150 key cutting machine from Ali Express and maybe risk electrocution, as indicated in the following YouTube review, rather than pay for a replacement key.

Are the dimensions consistent across all models? He is considering acquiring some for my A207 and his X218. Thank you.

Thank you. I am aware of this product from discussions on detailed forums. It seems that they also offer a DAS-8 version.

I am considering buying a machine that has been polished, and I have a budget of £100. I would like to hear the opinions of professionals on this matter. This is intended for my van. Thank you in advance.

Is the Citroen DS3 immobiliser effective? There is a similar one available on eBay with a 1.6 THP engine.
-
Do the Peugeot and Citroen engines have the same designation N12B16A, or should I look for a separate designation?
-
Indeed, I was considering an end cap. Attempting to apply the necessary torque when the drive was in an inverted position was really difficult and I definitely made a mistake. Utterly devastated!
-
Thank you. Despite my extensive efforts in repairing the engine, it unexpectedly had a piston failure while operating at high speed. Merely seven days after the MOT, I am uncertain about the appropriate course of action. I really want to retain it!

Is it possible to interchange an engine block from an automatic transmission vehicle with one from a manual transmission vehicle? Only the engine block. All additional parts and cylinder head from the original engine. The alphanumeric code is N12B16A.

The cost is $250. It seems to be costly in my opinion. 😄

I recently dedicated a few hours on tidying and installing it. There is a little amount of rust on the metal gauze that need care, but other than that, it seems to be in excellent condition. Definitely not £3,000 either.

I posted a request on Facebook but had no responses, so I decided to search on autotrader for inexpensive automobiles that already have the desired feature installed. The first individual I approached was willing to engage in a barter arrangement in addition to providing some monetary compensation.

I have successfully located some. Consists of 5 individual pieces. Slightly dilapidated, but it should be able to be cleaned up well.

I have always considered carbon trim in the engine bay to be aesthetically appealing, but is it worthwhile to go through the trouble of searching for a pre-owned set if your vehicle does not come equipped with it? What would be its inherent worth?
-
Oh, that's great as well! The condition of my vehicle's exterior is impressive, to be honest. People are amazed that it still looks good after over 20 years, particularly considering the unchanged interior. However, the back subframe and everything below it, including the components, are in poor condition, which is rather concerning.

The vehicle was constructed in 2004 and officially registered in 2005. It has accumulated around 120,000 kilometres. Yes, I believe it is time for the unavoidable. I like the engine in it as well, and it's unfortunate that it likely has another 500,000 miles of life left.

I purchased a CLK320 over 3 years ago, but it has developed many problems. Unfortunately, I am considering scrapping it, which is rather disheartening. I am writing this to seek reassurance and confirmation. The vehicle has had many electrical issues and, unsurprisingly, there is a significant amount of rust on the rear passenger quarter. There is water entering the trunk (causing unpleasant odours in the carpeting) and a malfunctioning seatbelt. Recently, my vehicle experienced a flat tyre. I attempted to remove the wheel on the side of the road using hand tools, but was unsuccessful due to the lock nut not providing enough grip. Prior to the flat tyre, there was significant noise coming from that particular corner. Initially, I believed the noise was caused by the corrosion of the tin baking plate, which had been temporarily repaired approximately two years ago. However, I now suspect that the noise and the flat tyre may be unrelated a The identified electrical problems include the absence of a horn, intermittent functioning of the o2 engine fan, occasional failures of the windows to close properly, and warning messages related to the ESP sensors prompting the need for a service visit. To be honest, I believe that all electrical problems are either caused by water entering the system (which I suspect is due to extensive corrosion) or a malfunctioning steering column module. However, it is difficult to determine the exact cause without investing a significant amount of money in a thorough examination. It seems that I have limited alternatives unless I invest a significant amount of resources. Do you have any comments or advice that I should consider before I make the call?
