Hello everyone, I am reaching out from the bigcoupe community in a last attempt to get assistance in identifying these brake callipers. They can be directly attached to my 1983 633 csi, but they are certainly not the original callipers since the size of the pistons is different. Additionally, the brake callipers used in the e28 model have identical component numbers. I am currently in the process of rebuilding the callipers for my restoration project. Unfortunately, I mistakenly discarded the old calliper pistons and the new ones I purchased do not fit properly due to their larger size. I have searched online for suitable replacements specifically designed for the 633 model, but all available options are also too big. I am aware that I should not have disposed of the old parts, as I usually do not make such errors, but this was an accidental oversight on my part. The calliper lacks a part number and instead displays "BMW 57/25" on one side and "BMW ATE" on the other. The only web information I came across pertained to the e46s, maybe. However, all of those options have a larger or same calliper bore size. I am certain that if my bore size is 57mm, I cannot use a 57mm piston since there has to be some clearance. The bore measurement indicates an internal diameter (ID) of 57mm. Therefore, would it be correct to assume that I need pistons with a diameter of 56mm? Which specific BMW calliper is compatible with my e24 and can be easily installed? The primary enigma that stumped everyone was the e24 gang. I am now facing a challenge in the restoration process as I am unable to determine the appropriate size of pistons required. Furthermore, I am reluctant to get other callipers as I have already meticulously prepared and painted these callipers, and have also obtained new seal kits and other necessary components. Currently, I am quite intrigued in the potential dimensions of these objects. If anybody has any suggestions, please inform me. I reached out to ATE, but they were unsuccessful. I also contacted other brake supplier businesses, and they all confirmed that higher size pistons are required for the factory e24 (and e28) brakes.

The 🤞 indicates that the Nox sensor is reporting ageing, but I am aware that it is a recently installed sensor, therefore it cannot be undergoing the process of ageing. This situation is distressing and frustrating for me. -

If the sensor is defective, might it potentially trigger other error codes? -
Greetings, everybody. I am consistently experiencing difficulties with the post catalytic converter oxygen sensor in my e90 2.0 petrol vehicle. If I decide to replace the sensor, is there any further action required to inform the car's system that a new sensor has been installed, or can I just change it and leave it as is? Thank you.

Based on the description, it seems that the Genuine Mercedes-Benz A205905341480 Voltage Converter Auxiliary Battery I bought is the exact component for my automobile, which I got on eBay. -

I attempted to circumvent the need for disassembling it twice (due to laziness, humorously) and the temperature is low, hahaha -

I recently spoke with my nearby Mercedes-Benz dealer who informed me that the cost is £182, but declined to verify or provide the specific component number. -

Appreciation expressed. That was my guess. Is there a location where I can verify that A205905341480 is the correct component for my vehicle? There are several items available on platforms like eBay, some of which are authentic while others are not. Is it advisable to only purchase genuine products? I recall an instance around 15 years ago when I bought a mass airflow item and it became evident rather quickly that the counterfeit versions were of poor quality. -

Appreciation expressed. I am presented with three instances of laughing out loud -
Greetings, everyone. I own a 2017 C220 Executive Estate. Despite doing extensive web research for many days, I have been unable to locate definitive evidence pertaining to my specific need. Consequently, I have decided to seek assistance on this platform. Previously, I received a notification indicating "Auxiliary Battery Failure" on the dashboard. Additionally, the Green A symbol has changed from green to yellow and remains yellow for around 99% of the time. Occasionally, it briefly turns green and functions properly for a few instances of starting and stopping the vehicle. However, it then passes several days without functioning before working again. I cover a monthly distance of 2000 to 4000 miles when driving. The vehicle has accumulated a mileage of 113,000 km. All other functions operate correctly except for the halt Start function. Based on my investigation, the most probable cause is the Auxiliary Battery. However, I am unable to locate the specific location on my vehicle, the accurate part number, and if it is a component that can be replaced by myself. Assistance is highly valued. Gratitude is extended to you.

Captiva Could you kindly elucidate the specific method of bending the spring in order to prevent its subsequent ejection? Regarding the photos, are you referring to bending it in a more upward direction or towards the left or right? Thank you.

Captiva Thank you much for your assistance. Everything is functioning properly once again. A Mercedes independent expert provided a quotation of £360 after conducting a thorough examination. They must have been aware that it may have been anything as simple as this. Thank you once again
