Thank you for your response. I will definitely return to the Indy on Monday when it opens. I am primarily enquiring whether anybody has already encountered this issue, specifically about SOS pursuing a primary battery replacement, so that I may approach the Indy with pertinent facts to avoid being dismissed. For instance, it is customary for the SOS module to need a reset by detaching the main battery. Thank you once again for your assistance. 👍

Greetings, everyone. I own a 2019 2 Series Gran Tourer F46. Yesterday, my independent garage installed a new primary battery and programmed it to the vehicle. My travel home yesterday was uneventful, and this morning I completed a 20-minute drive to the nearby town without incident. Upon returning home from town, a warning for the SOS system has now emerged. Is this likely associated with the primary battery replacement, or is it only coincidental that today is very cold, thus exacerbating the depletion of the SoS battery, which may be nearing the end of its lifespan? Any insights or assistance would be much appreciated.

Do you have Kia Connect installed on your phone? When I had this on my Stonic, I was able to modify it via that.

Thank you everyone. To clarify, the vibration is only visible while using the mirror in NORMAL mode. Can anybody who has generously commented confirm that the mirror does not vibrate when gazing through it under normal circumstances? As an Optician, I tend to be more meticulous than others and I am always aware of even the slightest blurring, even subconsciously. The difficulty in seeing the Clearsight mirror arises from the fact that in Clearsight mode, one is observing something in close proximity, akin to reading a book, but in regular mode, one is observing distant objects via the mirror.

The first release of my vehicle, which occurred 4 years ago, was equipped with the Clearsight rear view mirror. Since the beginning, this device has shown a minor vibration, which varies in intensity depending on the ambient temperature. The original item was finally replaced with a superior alternative, however it is still not flawless. However, the vibration is not visible when the clearsight feature is used. I am about to get a new Evoque, but I am uncertain about opting for Clearsight again due to concerns about a potential recurrence of the previous issue. Although I have only used it on a limited number of occasions, it seems to be quite advantageous. Does anybody else possess one? The user's text is empty. Have you encountered a similar issue?

Contact a Mercedes-Benz professional by phone and request their assistance in examining the wiring schematics to provide you with accurate information about pin positions and wire colours.

That may only be available in the United States, Mr. N.

I am uncertain about the distinction between coasting and using engine braking, unless you are referring to the act of shifting the vehicle into neutral or engaging the clutch in a manual gearbox. Is that done by anyone? I am uncertain about the infotainment upgrade. How can I ascertain this? I purchased it two months ago as an ex-demo from a primary dealer, so I would think that it was fully updated. Similarly, I will assess the tyre pressures regardless.

I have an inquiry about the technical aspects of my Skyactiv-X GT Sport Tech. After intermittently monitoring the Energy Flow Monitor for a few weeks, I have seen that the 6-bar battery symbol consistently remains below 3 bars. Is this a typical occurrence? In addition, during my test drive of another CX-30 before to acquiring my own, I saw the wheels on the display rotating in the other direction when the vehicle was engaged in regenerative braking. This does not occur in my case. Could someone provide guidance, please?

Thank you for the offer, however it's a little far for me since I am in London.

I will inspect the cap to ensure it is secure. I was not aware of the impact of pressure.

You may perhaps bypass the OE systems, retain the fan, and use a product like this to circumvent the troublesome tiny components: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Flex-lite-31163-Variable-Temperature/dp/B001UPYW1W

Thank you for the information. I am uncertain, but it seems that regardless of the temperature, the car's fan should activate at some time to prevent overheating.

Thank you for your response. Could you perhaps clarify what ISTA stands for?

Hello everyone, I am new to this platform from the UK. I have come across some helpful material, but none that addresses my specific issue. After the cooling fan in my Cooper quit operating, I removed it and saw that the resistor was damaged. The fan seemed old, so it was replaced with a new one that included a resistor, but it still does not function.I connected the socket, verifying that the high speed was operational. The thermostat has been replaced and is functioning well. All fuses and relays have been inspected and are functioning properly to the best of my knowledge. Some versions have a single hookup for the fan assembly, but mine has two connectors - one large and one little. The ECU, BCM, and other related components in the car have been replaced and reset, with all other functions working properly. I need assistance with this matter, thank you.
