  1. Are they an authorised JLR dealer? Your warranty description does not suggest that. If you are dissatisfied with their handling of a warranty claim, consider reviewing the Consumer Rights Act or consulting Trading Standards. Regarding JLR, it is unlikely you would achieve a favourable outcome as the vehicle is over three years old.
  2. The dealer is unresponsive; is this a big dealership offering a one-year approved used warranty, or a lesser independent dealer providing a three-month warranty? You did not specify.
  3. £115?Well done. I purchased mine for £50, although I could have acquired a completely new one for £120.
  4. Market it here; individuals engage in such transactions.I purchased mine from a member on this platform. One should receive £50 consistently throughout the day, particularly advantageous for individuals possessing older vehicles such as mine. Mine is permanently located in the trunk of my 212. Assisted me and others numerous times.
  5. Someone enquired about this on another topic; the response was negative, as they appear identical yet are not the same, allegedly. It is unfortunate, as I would prefer to undertake that myself, or at least adhere to the MB V3.0 specifications.
  6. Is your car equipped with an integrated navigation system?
  7. Another endorsement for the Goodyear Asymmetric 6.
  8. A commendable series of YouTube movies by a somewhat eccentric Russian individual demonstrates the precise volume (in litres) of oil required for an engine before the crankshaft aerates the lubricant; he used transparent Perspex sumps for clarity. It is a substantial quantity! Should I locate the videos, I will upload them thereafter.
  9. Do not provide them with a justification to cease issuing refunds. They must be seething with anger at the thought of all that returned money.
  10. Could you display an image of it?
  11. Did you do a soft reset to synchronize with the change? I am astonished that you encountered issues; I am certain that it is the sensor I changed shortly after purchasing my GT. It resolved my problems and did not produce any errors.
  12. The "Draft Invoice" would deter me from considering the purchase of this vehicle. Are AMG wheels priced at £375?

  14. The service required is dependent upon your specific needs and location. Upon examining MB pricing during the New Year, I saw that select dealerships were providing very low rates on certain service items at various service intervals, including gearbox service. Consequently, my independent dealer reduced their pricing to maintain a competitive edge over the local Mercedes dealership. I discovered that manipulating the mileage in the online booking tool enabled the inclusion of specific service items that were due, such as a brake fluid change or gearbox service. Additionally, further adjustments to the mileage resulted in these same services being available at a lower cost when booked online. It is unclear how it functions. I am uncertain if, upon discovering the lowest price, the dealer would then attempt to impose additional charges for services such as brake fluid replacement or gearbox maintenance if the car's mileage is excessive. I would want to ascertain the specific additional effort necessitated by the mileage mismatch on those goods. I could estimate none.
  15. Thank you. That has saved me some money. They are selling them totally new and sealed on eBay. I was uncertain whether it provided additional functionality. I fail to comprehend why the navigation and the additional security feature, for which you incur a cost, remain operational despite the deactivation of the 3G network. Is there a method to update the car's communication system, or is this the extent of its capabilities?
  16. Greetings, everyone. I possess a 2017 CLA200 Shooting Brake and utilise the Mercedes Me app. I have organised the app and registered the automobile in my name. The application functions effectively, save for a few functionalities such as locking the vehicle and controlling the windows. I have communicated with Mercedes, and they indicated that the issue is due to the decommissioning of the 2G and 3G networks. I have observed Mercedes adapters that connect to the port for the Mercedes Me app, but I am uncertain about their functionality. Upon contacting Mercedes, they appeared displeased with my inquiry, stating only that the model had been discontinued and providing no further information. Can somebody assist me in determining if obtaining one will enable all functionalities to function? Thank you, everyone.
  17. I am enquiring if the issue may be attributed to a deficient water pump, capable of circulating fluid through the engine block but insufficient for circulation through the matrix. Your insights would be highly valued.

  19. ello everyone, the dashboard's secret menu indicates a temperature of 89-92 degrees Celsius, suggesting that the thermostat is functioning properly. It seems that flushing or matrix removal is now presenting significant challenges. I discovered this intriguing link about flushing: DIY: Flushing the E9x Heater Core (Exercise Caution!). I will attempt this first.
  20. Thank you for your observation; I have come to understand today that the Aux is just for REST, whereas mine has the ALL button. BMW has verified that my car lacks an auxiliary pump. I will verify the engine temperature tomorrow; it should exceed 90 degrees. My current idea, if the engine temperature is satisfactory, is to attempt to extract the matrix without disassembling the column and dashboard, rather than doing a flush from the engine compartment. Certain YouTube videos assert that it is possible, but others contend that it is not. It likely depends on the specific model. If I can remove it, I may attempt to clean it or just get a new one. I have just this week available, since I begin a new work next week.
  21. My 335D has ceased to produce heat. It was never really correct, but it seemed to deteriorate more when I imprudently applied a stop leak solution. I promptly instructed my local garage to do a thorough flushing, and they are certain that the matrix is not obstructed. I am uncertain. I am now receiving little heat from the passenger side and none from the driver's side. No problems are shown by the code reader, and all flap tests seem to be functioning well. I replaced the IHKA panel with one purchased from eBay, however it did not provide any improvement. This suggests that the matrix remains obstructed or that the auxiliary heating pump is malfunctioning. Before proceeding with more flushing, I want to verify the functionality of the auxiliary pump first. I conducted the typical bleed test (28 degrees on IHKA and depressed the throttle, but did not hear any pump activate). I am now uncertain whether my model is equipped with one and have contacted the BMW dealership for an estimate on the component; they seem to be somewhat perplexed as well and I am awaiting their response. Any assistance or guidance would be much appreciated.
  22. Embarked on a 40-minute journey to IKEA this morning with the error activated. Upon re-entering the vehicle after shopping, the mistake has disappeared. The temperature was 12.5 degrees, indicating that either the automobile required a thorough drive to reset the module, or the SOS battery is deteriorating in cold weather. Observe the next occurrence of low temperatures. I do not need a £700 charge for the replacement of the SOS battery at this now, or at any time in the future. 😂
  23. Thank you for your response. I will definitely return to the Indy on Monday when it opens. I am primarily enquiring whether anybody has already encountered this issue, specifically about SOS pursuing a primary battery replacement, so that I may approach the Indy with pertinent facts to avoid being dismissed. For instance, it is customary for the SOS module to need a reset by detaching the main battery. Thank you once again for your assistance. 👍
  24. Greetings, everyone. I own a 2019 2 Series Gran Tourer F46. Yesterday, my independent garage installed a new primary battery and programmed it to the vehicle. My travel home yesterday was uneventful, and this morning I completed a 20-minute drive to the nearby town without incident. Upon returning home from town, a warning for the SOS system has now emerged. Is this likely associated with the primary battery replacement, or is it only coincidental that today is very cold, thus exacerbating the depletion of the SoS battery, which may be nearing the end of its lifespan? Any insights or assistance would be much appreciated.
