In my previous experience, I had a significant issue where my vehicle emitted a loud and harsh metallic noise while driving over bumps on the highway. I brought it in for inspection, and they determined that all four were faulty, but I am uncertain whether all four were really faulty. I remember that four additional components failed at about 30,000 miles. Specifically, there were two failures first, followed by two more failures a few months later. However, it is possible that I am mistaken. If I get the opportunity to sleep in my own bed again, I will review my documentation.

I have completed a total of 8 replacements using fidelity. Everything has proceeded well and without any problems or concerns from fidelity. There is no need to continue operating a vehicle with a malfunctioning magnetic ride suspension system when you possess fidelity. Replace the item and inquire with your service adviser if they can assist you with replacing at least two items, if not all four. However, it is irrational to purchase a guarantee and then fail to use it when a malfunction occurs. In my experience, the durability of magnetic ride suspensions has consistently been about 30,000 miles. We now have an additional data point indicating that after 9 years and 25,000 miles, there is a 25% failure rate. I predict that the remaining items will deteriorate within a distance of 5,000 miles and a duration of one year.

Thank you very much. I, too, encountered this webpage. The CLS is from an incorrect age, requiring some cognitive effort to comprehend. An alternative course of action would include replacing my tyres and engaging in unwise behaviour elsewhere, such as acquiring a 77mm SC pulley kit or importing headers.

Greetings, everybody. I have had a CLS55 for a few years and get much pleasure from using and observing it when it is functioning well. I have seen some CLS 55s exhibiting bigger wheels, which give them a visually striking appearance. However, I acknowledge that increasing the size of the alloys may result in a rigid and unpleasant ride. Therefore, I am considering a decision to increase the supply from 18" to 19". However, while I have come across a wheel that I find visually appealing, if rather "Euro", it is very hard to see it being mounted on the automobile. I need replacing the rear tyres, as the original wheels are nearing the point where they require refurbishment. Therefore, it seems to be the opportune moment to align all the tyres and rejuvenate the appearance simultaneously. I am essentially seeking views. An assessment of mental stability. Thank you very much.

No problem whatsoever.I have the ability to schedule the reservation of my vehicles in "My Drive" at any moment. Do-it-yourself (DIY) may be a helpful resource. My autos only visit a workshop for the MOT inspection.

Thank you everyone. I attempted to remove the moisture from the module, but it was unsuccessful. I used a wet vacuum to extract as much water as possible, but it had penetrated the foam, necessitating the removal of seats and carpets. Unfortunately, I cannot spare the time to undertake these extensive repairs as I require a dependable vehicle for work. Consequently, the insurance company promptly declared it a total loss through an online form.

My 2006 Mini CooperS has had water infiltration due to floodwaters beyond the door bottoms, resulting in around 2-3 inches of water accumulation inside the vehicle. The vehicle was not submerged in water, thus I am not worried about the condition of the engine. However, I am receiving many error messages indicating issues with the electrical system (a picture will be sent as evidence). The engine is operational, with intermittent activation of the headlights and sidelights, but the wipers are not functioning.Indicators for changing direction. The electric mechanism for opening the boot is not functioning. Upon shutting off the engine, the warning persists in sounding, necessitating the disconnection of the battery. I have used a wet vacuum to extract the water, but, the carpets remain excessively saturated. Given the current outdoor temperature of 1 degree Celsius, the likelihood of facilitating the drying process is minimal. Do you have any ideas or suggestions? Regrettably, the automobile has less monetary value, hence I am uncertain about contacting the insurance company.

It can be completed in only two minutes. You detach the white plug. Disengage the bolt and remove it in a linear motion. Prior to insertion, I applied a little amount of oil from the previous component onto the new component, namely onto the o-ring. Attach securely, connect effortlessly, and complete. He informed me that there are two potential components. The bolt lug is directly attached to the component. The second one, similar to mine, has a lug that has been soldered onto the side. I believe that yours will be identical to mine, but please examine the side of yours to see whether it has been welded. I have marked it with a circle in the picture. Apologies, I am now occupied with work and unable to verify the component number.

I just replaced mine due to a leakage issue. It is a component known as a camshaft position actuator or a similar device. Attached is a photograph depicting the leak. The previously extracted component (my previous one) and the container in which the new one was received, labeled with the part number. The price was around 60 pounds, and the dealers had the item available since he said it is a frequent issue. This will assist you.
