  1. Hello BMW enthusiasts, I am new here since my X6 E71 40d, manufactured in December 2012, has been running well so far. Now the handbrake has automatically engaged and the handbrake light in the cockpit is always glowing yellow. The trunk release was pulled and the fuses in the passenger footwell and the two in the trunk were checked. Everything is fine. The handbrake remains nonfunctional. BMW is asking around 300 euros only for the diagnosis. The independent workshop has conducted a diagnostic scan and identified errors in the power supply. Have any of you had similar symptoms? Ich wäre dankbar für Ratschläge zur weiteren Fehlersuche. Also, the hold on feature has also failed, and the two LEDs on the centre console have also failed. The battery is currently in good condition.
  2. Furthermore, a comprehensive service has been provided. Could the issue be attributed to the gasoline filter or another component?
  3. Indeed, it is possible for the temperature to have dropped to -8°C yesterday. Additionally, it operates adequately. Therefore, it is advisable to maintain the current state without making any changes, as you have suggested.
  4. Previously, only the number 4 was functional. However, the user succeeded in altering the functionality of number 4, but was unable to do the same for number 6.
  5. Greetings, everyone. Upon doing a diagnostic, it was determined that only one glow plug was operational. The primary concern was a misfire occurring between 2500 and 3000rpm at full speed, as well as a little difficult start in the morning. I made an appointment with my nearby mechanic and had a comprehensive service performed, which included the replacement of all filters and an oil change. He successfully replaced just 5 of the glow plugs, with the final one being very difficult to remove. He was cautious not to break it and attempted many times, but was unsuccessful. After replacing 5 new glow plugs, the problem of misfire has been resolved. Uncertain on the improvement in miles per gallon (mpg). The glow plug light continues to illuminate for the same duration of 30 seconds as it did before. Should I promptly seek out another technician to address the issue with the most recent glow plug? I would greatly appreciate any guidance or recommendations. Thank you everyone.
  6. Do you have any suggestions or thoughts, gentlemen?
  7. Greetings, everyone. I have encountered a problem with the air suspension system on my 2012 Viano. The elevation has decreased and the pump activates but immediately ceases operation. The dashboard is displaying an inactive ENR status. The error code retrieved by my local garage indicates that there is an improbable signal from the b22/10 diverter. Is it possible that the issue lies with the diverter valve? I would much appreciate your assistance or guidance as always.
