  1. I am grateful for it. I sought a 330i or 430i and had no interest in a 3.0i engine. The 2015 and later B48 engine variants, namely the 20i and 30i, are identical engines with just factory tuning differences. A multitude of 120i vehicles is available on the market, and they may be effortlessly remapped for substantial power enhancement. The 2 Series is rather pricier than the 1 Series; thus, you may need to restrict your options to the 120i within your budget. If the budget is severely constrained, consider a Cat N vehicle that includes comprehensive documentation of pre-repair and post-repair conditions, executed to a high degree. Those automobiles may be £2,000 less expensive in comparison. Unfortunately, the costs of secondhand cars are now exorbitant. I sought a little Toyota Yaris for my father within a £5,000 budget; however, the majority of available vehicles were subpar for that price, particularly for a Japanese mini.
  2. Consider a 2016 or newer low-spec 20i equipped with a B48 engine and remapped to 250 bhp. The market is saturated with 20i models. However, the subsequent engine is regarded as a pocket rocket and is highly sought for, thus commanding a premium. I purchased a 420i around seven months ago. I searched for a few of 430i models, but the costs increased significantly.
  3. The P300e/P270e Evoque is very comfortable, powerful, and economical to use; I would unequivocally suggest it.
  4. My last Evoque was a P300e. Despite encountering two issues during my ownership (HVHC and BJB), which rendered it inoperable for a month due to the BJB being on back order, it demonstrated considerable reliability and economic efficiency, particularly when using low-rate nighttime electricity. In late March 2025, I exchanged my P300e for a P270e, seeing no discernible difference in performance. This vehicle has shown to be very dependable, having returned to the garage just once for a recall that could not be completed due to a recent cyber assault; I am currently on a waiting list.
  5. Could you provide a link to the Germany stickers, please? We will go to Holland in three weeks via the tunnel and plan to do day excursions to Belgium, Holland, and Germany from our lodge. My husband has registered for the emissions zones in Belgium (Euro 6 compliance). We are proceeding in his X218. I am now texting him about the stickers; I doubt he is aware.
  6. I have just sent you an email.
  7. Hello, it has not yet broken. A few days ago, it began emitting a noise while cold, and I have been informed that it is the timing chain. Thank you
  8. Good evening, Is there anyone who can provide the cost of repairing the timing chain on a 2014 330D GT? Is it prudent to repair the crankshaft bearings in conjunction with the oil pump? Thank you in advance.
  9. What is it? Would you install underglow lighting?
  10. I am now achieving 4.4 m/kW since the servicing in July, which mostly relies on your driving habits.
  11. Who would have anticipated! By searching the number on Google, you may ascertain its identity. I am astonished! I will descend to the base of our staircase.
  12. What is its size? Please capture a photograph from a greater distance and an alternative viewpoint, ideally beside a tree limb, specifying if it is a tiny or big branch.
  13. I use a tethered Zappi charger at home with my EV3, and have had no complications, nor do I need to open the DC cover to charge.

  15. If you are a generation member, please enquire here.
  16. Which relay did you utilise? Starting should not provide an issue above 0 degrees, even in the absence of glow plugs. An auxiliary heater, I have heard, is used in some locations where an electric heater is integrated into the coolant line to expedite warming; nonetheless, this should not influence a cold start.
  17. It has been some time since you posted this. I own a same model from 2011, namely the Insignia. Only the driver's door may be opened, and alone with the key. Neither the fob nor the internal controls of the vehicle will unlock the doors, even in the presence of a clunking sound. At times, it produces a clunking sound, at other times a clicking sound, however the doors stay secured. I attempted to detach the battery and reset the ECU; it was effective the first time, but not on the subsequent attempt. It is sporadic. Occasionally, it works flawlessly. Occasionally, starting the engine causes the internal controls to clank, while the doors remain inoperative. Numerous clonks later, they will. Did it stay constant for you? Most issues reemerge shortly after one is certain they have been resolved.
  18. I used a black brushed aluminium type wrap for my project, believing it superior to the largest plain black option.
  19. The 2020 facelifted variants lack a 12v battery and an access panel.
  20. Is their intention to change the Electronic Ignition System (EIS) located beneath the key slot, rendering any additional keys for the automobile inoperable? This does not sound accurate to me.
