  1. Proceed with caution. The P300e performs well when operational; nonetheless, the HVHC (high voltage hybrid coolant) heater malfunction is a prevalent and costly defect. If you are determined to get one, acquire the latest model within your budget that has the most extensive manufacturer's warranty to address that particular issue. Absence of a guarantee is a significant financial risk.
  2. It seems to have entered "limp mode."? Are there any warning lights illuminated on the dashboard, and do you own a code reader?
  3. Good choice. I used to work at Grimes Transport in the finance department before moving to Manchester last year. They’ve always been very professional. Payments for vehicles go into a segregated business account, meaning the money stays protected until the buyer confirms that the car has arrived and matches the description. That’s how they handle all these “buy-unseen” cases. They only buy vehicles in solid condition from repossession auctions, and that’s why they offer the 10-day inspection / refund policy it gives buyers peace of mind.
  4. I have charged my EV3 on AC several times without ever needing to release the bottom DC flap. Is your plug of an unusual shape?
  5. Thank you for your reply. I found it peculiar that when attempting to accelerate from a standstill in slick conditions, the vehicle stalled three times before barely managing to go forward.
  6. Is this vehicle equipped with 4x4 or all-wheel drive capabilities? The roads in this area are wet and slick, causing the wheels to lock while attempting to start in first gear, resulting in the vehicle stalling. Extremely hazardous when attempting to merge into traffic on similarly slick conditions. Is this typical behaviour for a 330xi, or is there an issue? It does not occur in dry snow. Thank you for any assistance or feedback.
  7. £28 for mine, however the price has already jumped.£700 is for a primary lithium battery, which is square in certain vehicles such as my F82 M4; the auxiliary battery is also lithium but is 6 cm square.
  8. SOS is a telematics battery; it does not have the longevity of a conventional battery.
  9. However, timing chains must be replaced at 100,000 miles on the 2.0d.
  10. It seems that LED lights were specified in the construction plans. It may be time for a new headlight.
  11. Greetings everyone, I want guidance in the appropriate path. The headlamp bulb on my 2014 E Class convertible has malfunctioned. I own a replacement bulb, but I am unable to access the original for removal. The main beam seems simple. Removing the lid seems to be somewhat complex.
  12. The warranty has expired, thus that option is not viable. Thank you for confirming the unfavourable news. Where have the lights gone that we can replace? I will search eBay and attempt to replace the device myself; I refuse to pay the exorbitant rates suggested by the major vendor. Thank you
  13. Greetings. I own a 2019 Evoque R Dynamic in the standard trim level. The rear passenger indicator has ceased functioning. I saw that there has been condensation in the light fixture for many months. This week, I visited the main dealer for a different problem. They said that for the indication, it is not a matter of changing a bulb, but rather the full light unit, which would incur a cost of £481. That seems to be irrational. Is this accurate? Is it not possible to simply replace the malfunctioning indicator? Thank you.
  14. I believe PHEVs may be preferable as they possess a standard 12V system, in contrast to HEVs.
