  1. Hello everyone I am still much loving my c220d estate and achieving a rather decent fuel efficiency of about 45 mpg, although mostly doing short trips, including school runs with frequent traffic congestion. For longer travels, I am certain that achieving speeds in the mid 50s is readily attainable. My inquiry is to painting stone chips, as indicated by the topic title. The magnificent blue colour of my automobile is marred by chipping on the margins of 3 out of 4 doors, detracting from the overall great condition of the car's appearance. How simple is it to fix them on your own? I have seen YouTube videos that demonstrate the process as quite simple. However, I am curious about the accuracy of colour matching when using inexpensive kits purchased online or from retailers like Halfords. Does anybody have suggestions or advice on certain products? Thank you.
  2. You believe that the CX-60 should be Americanized, at least in terms of size. If it had the CX-90 drivetrains, I would choose it. I want the 340 horsepower in-line 6 engine in a more compact car.
  3. Indeed, I am familiar with those two viewpoints. Assuming I were a betting person, I would wager that the CX-70 will essentially be a two-row version of the CX-90. Removing the third row would be rather simple. One minor issue about the CX-90 is the limited space behind the third row. Remove it and rename it, such as CX-70, to satisfy everyone.
  4. Begin with half to make it easy to adjust if needed, rather than having to remove excess if it's overfilled.
  5. Thank you for the comment. I concur, I like doing maintenance tasks such as changing fluids and brakes, among others. However, when it comes to removing the supercharger and attempting to diagnose and repair the coolant pipes, or perform maintenance on timing chains or any other complex tasks, I reluctantly have to entrust the job to more skilled individuals. Furthermore, considering your favourable encounter with the Z2 warranty, I want to fully use its benefits by making necessary updates before its expiration. Wishing you success with your L405.
  6. Great - I'm pleased to have the positive response. Thank you for sharing that anecdote, especially considering the prevalent pessimism and negativity we often encounter in our reading material. Laughter.
  7. The extended warranty was definitely a worthwhile investment. It is great to learn that you have achieved a favourable return on your investment. I noticed a decrease in coolant levels in the reservoir of my 2014 Range Rover 5.0SC, which caused me to become concerned about the eventual failure of the crossover pipe(s). I acquired an extended warranty, namely the "Z2" plan operated by CNA, from the Land Rover dealership where I bought my car. With just a few months remaining on the warranty, I contacted the original store to inquire about coverage for a cross-over. Regrettably, I discovered that the guarantee does not include plastic "pipes". Malodorous individuals. Upon reviewing the warranty documentation, it is evident that there are really specific exclusions mentioned. I have not yet examined to see whether there is coolant present under the supercharger. However, since the cost of the task is $2400, I will likely consult my nearby mechanic to ascertain their familiarity with this issue and inquire about their pricing. I discovered that the control arms and bushings are really included in the warranty coverage. Therefore, I want to use the warranty at the dealership to have these components rejuvenated. Additionally, I will request that the dealer inspect and address any other eligible repairs or replacements. I am also interested, like the other commenter, about the firm that provides your guarantee.
  8. I hope the absence of Farrell does not have the same outcome.
  9. There is definitely screen wash present. The issue arose around one week ago, and initially, I believed there was no problem. Consequently, I addressed the matter by refilling it yesterday. Currently, it is filled with pristine Prestone screen wash. I used around 3 litres, however I am uncertain about the maximum capacity. Previously, I was completely unaware of its contents. The automobile was acquired from a Volvo dealership, suggesting the use of Volvo fluid. However, the issue arose prior to the introduction of any additional fluid.
  10. Thank you gentlemen, I will use both methods, however I will start with using Viakal since I believe I have some available.
  11. Regardless, my vehicle is a 2014 SL400 and it is great. However, in the last week or so, the windscreen wiper fluid has been unable to dispense onto the screen. The wiper blades are equipped with small apertures that spray the fluid directly onto the windscreen, as opposed to ejecting it from the top of the bonnet. Upon pressing the squirt button, a little quantity of fluid is emitted from both blades, but, it is insufficient to adequately cleanse the screen. The wiper blades were changed around 3,000 miles ago and functioned well until lately. Does anybody possess any notions on the potential cause of the problem? From my perspective, it seems unlikely that the pump has entirely failed because there is still some fluid being discharged. However, it is possible that the pump is deteriorating and nearing the end of its functionality. The wiper blades cannot be the cause since they are almost brand new. It is not possible for the pipes to extend from the point of division to each individual blade, assuming that is the configuration. Do you have any insights or advice to assist with the diagnosis? Furthermore, I would want to address another separate matter.I am experiencing a bothersome buzzing sound originating from the driver's door, which I am unable to pinpoint. I have applied lubrication to the door seals and inspected the door pocket for any loose objects, but unfortunately, the issue persists.
  12. Do not confuse the presence of a stop/start button with the automobile having stop/start eco technology.
  13. Impressive use of leisure time throughout the holiday season, resulting in a remarkable outcome. I congratulate you for your efforts and diligence.
  14. I suspect that the PCV valve has malfunctioned, along with the accompanying breathing hoses.Oil being expelled from the intercooler, among other components.
  15. I own intelligent metres, but they exhibit a remarkable lack of intelligence. The electric metre is linked to their network, while the gas metre is connected to the electric metre. According to them, the gas metre has never sent a reading due to insufficient network strength, while the electric metre successfully connects and is the only metre that does so. The most unfavourable experience I had was a monthly payment of £260, which I found exorbitant. Despite my persistent complaints, the amount was only adjusted to £278. However, after my credit debt exceeded £3,000, they declined to provide me with a refund. Instead, they reduced my monthly payment to £56. Currently, both metres are not functioning properly. The utility company requests readings from me, which I fail to provide. However, if I do provide the readings, they use it as a pretext to modify the direct debit arrangement. My current fixed plan will expire later this year, and I want to switch to a monthly billing plan. I will pay the payment each month and continue with the same process in the following month.
  16. The specific number of casualties, whether it be 700, 550, or even only 10, is not the focal point. It remains a matter of national shame. The victims were evidently inadequately represented, deceived, and their defence attorneys were obstructed from obtaining all pertinent papers (which is undoubtedly unlawful in itself). The board bears the ultimate accountability and must have been aware of the situation ("We were unaware" is an insufficient excuse), regardless of the level at which the fraud was being conducted. Indeed, I consider it to be a fraudulent scheme. The individuals engaged in the Post Office should face legal action for corrupting the legal process, and the leaders of the Crown Prosecution Service who authorised the prosecutions should be dismissed. Vennells, specifically, should be prohibited, at a minimum, from assuming any directorship or position of trust. In my opinion, it is evident that the whole scandalous incident serves as a quintessential illustration of the activities that major organisations engage in. And I have seen such unethical behaviour in those locations.
