It's unfortunate, as one would anticipate their car to endure some rain. It's not a significant expense for Mercedes, and I suspect they handle much more serious issues under warranty.

I'm scheduled for an appointment with Mercedes, but I'm uncertain about how useful they will be if I've replaced the headlight on my own. It might be worth trying. To my knowledge, there is certainly no damage to the headlight; it appears that the issue started during a recent period of inclement weather. I fully own the car. It was purchased privately more than a year ago.

I was informed by my local independent Mercedes dealer that it is improbable that MB would cover the repair costs at no charge. The £175 is an initial investigative fee, which may increase significantly based on the required work and/or parts. Regardless, that's in the past, and any helpful suggestions would be truly valued 😊

Unfortunately, the warranty expired on January 31st, and the issue began just a few weeks ago when the weather took a turn for the worse. 😔 I contacted Mercedes Teesside, but I was informed that there would be a charge of £175 just to look into the issue (though this is at the technician's discretion, and it might be resolved at no cost). Indeed, the part numbers align perfectly, and it functions as intended. The original issue continues to persist, which makes me believe it simply requires clearing or coding.

I apologise if this has already been addressed, but I'm struggling to find clarity on this matter. I own a 2020 C-Class equipped with the sophisticated Multibeam headlights. The original offside headlight was entirely filled with water, causing the daytime running light, indicator, and adaptive main beam assist to cease functioning. Instead of spending £1500 on a new headlight from Mercedes, I found a used headlight in good condition on eBay for £350. The headlight is functioning properly, yet the original issues mentioned above persist. I am uncertain whether this is merely a coding problem, but I have attempted to replace the module with the original headlight module without success. I would greatly appreciate any ideas or pointers! 😊

The device is specifically designed for radio use, and it has a screen. The iDrive is the system responsible for controlling various electrical functions in the vehicle. When the fuse is removed, there are no electrical problems. However, when the fuse is reinserted, an electrical fault occurs. This fault causes the radio to switch off and on, and the lights on the dashboard to flicker.

Hello everyone, I am wondering if anybody can assist me. After experiencing a leak in my vehicle and thoroughly drying everything, an electrical issue has emerged, resulting in warning lights being on. This issue occurs only when fuse 25 is inserted and my radio is turned on. The radio exhibits intermittent on-off behaviour, while the dashboard lights flicker and produce a beeping sound. If the radio does not work when the fuse is blown, I would appreciate any advice on the possible cause of this problem. How can I rectify the issue?

As already said. I recommend paying for the next service (year 3 / Service A) in full and thereafter obtaining a service plan to include coverage for year 4 / Service B, as well as additional components, and year 5 / Service A along with ATF. Additionally, it may need a year 6 service and the replacement of brake fluid.

In what way was I exhibiting harshness or belittling the original poster? I provided a direct response to their inquiry by recommending a specific location to purchase a conventional grille. If the individuals choose a more economical option, I have no objection to that. However, had they mentioned this preference in their first message, I would not have recommended a primary dealership or the website I provided a link to.

I own a 2024 Autobiography LWB that has accumulated little more than 10,000 kilometres. Upon parking the car and moving away, I have lately seen the occurrence of a hissing sound. The action is brief and rapid, like the release of pressure via a valve. I presume that pertains to the air suspension. Upon my first encounter, which occurred very recently, I found it quite disconcerting. There are no more documented problems with either the suspension or the car. Is anybody else perceiving this auditory stimulus? Is it customary?

The camshaft sensor signal is crucial, and it might indeed fail suddenly. Chains experience the greatest amount of stress when they come to a halt and start again, therefore this might have been the last contributing factor. Remove the cam sensor. I believe that if you manually rotate the crankshaft, you will discover that the camshaft does not rotate.

There is a potential occurrence on an N47 engine where the timing chain may fail abruptly. If the vehicle operated properly after the catalytic converter was installed, then the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is unlikely to be the current source of the problem. Remove the cam sensor and manually rotate the engine to see whether the cam moves. whether it does, ask someone to synchronise the timing and ensure that it is properly aligned.
