  1. I own a 2015 SLK250d. The TPM alert indicated that the front left sensor is not being detected. I anticipated the battery would be depleted. I visited my local tire shop, where they assessed all four sensors and confirmed their proper functioning. The vehicle is unable to identify any of the tyre pressure monitoring sensors and seems to be unresponsive. As if it were calibrating, perhaps? The orange caution light on the dashboard remains illuminated, first flickering at startup and then becoming steady. Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for a path forward? Thank you very much.
  2. Even if the part codes are identical, the headlamps require coding.
  3. Equal height, identical remark. However, it is likely not an ideal location for a tall adult to occupy during extended journeys. whether you own a kid seat, ensure that the front seats are comfortable for both individuals and verify whether there is enough space in the rear.

    Service Plan

In all fairness to the original poster, it seems that he is receiving three services and MOTs, but is paying for them over a span of two years. This is likely because he requires an immediate servicing. Therefore, a payment of £60 over the course of two years does not seem too high.
  5. I mentioned Starat and said that there was another subject. However, because you just had one post, it seems unlikely that you could have another topic. Is that correct? The value of an item is determined by the highest price someone is willing to pay for it, but it will never attain the status of a classic.
  6. I just joined, and I have only made one post so far.
  7. 1 affirmative 2 affirmative 3 affirmative, your amplifier is compatible with high level input, eliminating the need for an extra converter. Four Please go to the forum thread in the above link and search for "a5oc". You will find several topics discussing the wiring schematics of the audio system. In my prior installation, I used a quadlock adapter to extract the speaker output directly from the MMI unit, rather than from the amplifier. Uncertain about the availability of such products for B&O.

  9. If you want to ensure certainty, get a multi-line adaptor. I am uncertain if the front speakers get an unaltered signal covering the whole frequency range or whether there is a limit set below 100 Hz.
  10. via tapping into the signal from the sub wires, you will get a processed signal that has undergone digital signal processing (DSP) via the B&O amplifier. To provide a clear signal with a wide frequency range, I recommend using either the high voltage front speaker output or obtaining a device with low voltage RCA output.
  11. My first course of action would be to investigate if there is no acknowledgement of the coolant being replaced. Replace it, since the current coolant is likely the first one and has deteriorated in its effectiveness, depending on the duration of your automobile ownership. Your lack of knowledge of the contents is a contributing factor.
  12. Oh my, these sound really terrible. 😱 Undoubtedly, they are effective.
  13. In my basement, I saw a 1.5-inch ABS pipe protruding from the ceiling, extending roughly 2 inches downward. The pipe is neither covered or connected to anything inside the basement. There is a current of air coming from it, so I anticipate that it will rise rapidly. The half bathroom is located just above a damp wall. Does anybody identify the function it serves? Should I only limit it?
  14. Does the R8's redline grow when you go to a higher setting, either by a tuning or other means?
  15. If you remove the head unit, you may discover an auxiliary input socket where you may insert a cable, since certain models have this feature. It is possible to operate an FM transmitter with a 12-volt power source, however the success of playing music may vary. There are reasonably priced original equipment manufacturer (OEM) Android head units available.
  16. Bluetooth phone conversations are supported, but not music streaming. To listen to music, you will need to locate an auxiliary input or replace the current head unit with a new Android-compatible one.
  17. Which ones - Kumho, Pirelli, or Michelin?
  18. Are there any problems related to crabbing with Michelin tyres? The P Zero tyres perform quite poorly in temperatures below 6 degrees Celsius, which has been the case in Scotland since October of last year.
  19. The cost of a set of F+R PS4S, including installation, will be around £1500, which is over double the price of a set of Kumho tyres. Undoubtedly, the quality of the tyres would be superior without any doubt. However, considering that the driving will mostly be in urban areas, with just 1% of the driving being on the highway, it is worth questioning if the premium price is justified. As a Scottish person, I could choose for a set of Pace tyres priced at £112 apiece, but it would ultimately be a decision based on false economy, even for a Scottish person. If feasible, I would want to use rubber components from the same manufacturer and with comparable wear for the sake of the 4WD system.
  20. Does anybody have any firsthand experience with the aforementioned tyres, whether positive or negative? I will soon need a new pair of front tyres for the Cayenne, since the current P Zero tyres have worn down to a tread depth of 3mm. I want to replace them over the summer. Option one involves replacing the front tyres with the identical P Zero tyres, which will cost £720 for the pair, including installation. Option two entails replacing all four tyres with the aforementioned Kumho tyres, which cost £860. Additionally, the rear P Zero tyres, which still have a sufficient 5mm+ of useful tread, may be sold for around £150 or more. With an annual mileage of about 3,000 miles, I will not need to change the tyres while I own the car if I choose option two. However, if I choose option one, there is a possibility that I may need to replace the much more expensive rear tyres at some time. As a point of comparison, I have tyres with sizes 285-35-22 and 315-30-22. Additionally, according on the trip data, my average commuting speed is less than 20 mph. I am posting my question here since the UK Cayenne site is not very active, and the Rennlist forum in the USA only discusses original equipment manufacturer (OEM) rubber tyres, namely Pirelli brand.
  21. Monitor the brake fluid level as it may increase.Additionally, remove the cap in order to press the piston back in. An illuminating little light is useful for inspecting the drum in order to locate the adjuster. It is located at the lowest point. To make the necessary adjustments, you will want a high-quality flathead screwdriver. Loosen the adjusters by accessing the hole in the brake drum. Sufficient to remove the disc. It is quite simple. The hand brake shoes should be in good condition since they do not significantly contribute to stopping the automobile, resulting in little wear. Thoroughly clean everything and apply a thin layer of grease. This will ensure that the task is completed successfully. I successfully replaced the rear discs and pads on each wheel in around 30 minutes per wheel. The challenging aspect, while not inherently tough, is in correctly setting the hand brake. It is necessary to make adjustments until the brake is engaged, and then slightly loosen the adjuster to provide a modest resistance. It is important to ensure that both wheels are approximately equally affected. If you want assistance in adjusting the handbrake cable, I recommend seeing a tutorial video on YouTube. This resource may also provide guidance on brake-related matters. It is always beneficial to encounter the Rabbit, metaphorically speaking.
  22. I can verify that the C-Tek chargers are really effective. I have connected all of my bikes to these devices. Additionally, I can confirm that the Maypole unit works as well. I use it specifically for the SL500. I have not encountered any issues since I started using this device. If the C-Tek is available at a discounted price, I would seize the opportunity to get it. However, if it is not available, I highly suggest opting for the Maypole unit. I got the C-Tek only because it had a dedicated button for motorbikes.
  23. Prioritise identifying the root cause by determining if it is the actuator or the presence of a loose coin causing the wastegate to rattle.
  24. Based on the first video, I would have identified the problem as either a chain guide issue or a tensioner issue. As said, disconnect the wastegate actuator, as seen in the second video, since it is directly related to the movement of the wastegate. Based on the video, it is doubtful that the issue is due to the chain. However, it is important to confirm that the problem lies with the wastegate rather than the chain.
  25. One possible explanation is that the SYNC setting may be off, resulting in an excessively high or low passenger temperature. It is unlikely that these automobiles had two distinct blowers, hence necessitating the dual zone temperature control system to strive for equilibrium between the driver and passenger configurations. Applying excessive force on either side may result in the fan operating at a higher speed than desired. The Canada handbook should be consistent across all locations, namely in the eighth and ninth examples shown in the image: http://www.mazda.ca/en/digital-owners-manual/2021/cx-30/contents/06010400.html
