  2. During the completion of my C55, I brought my scantool, and the steering wheel remained immobilised while the tool indicated a zero-degree position. Somewhat excessive, although it achieved the desired outcome. Were any adjustments made to the rear? Are there modifications accessible at the rear of a 205?
  3. The initial step should involve inspecting all suspension components for signs of wear.

  5. The initial action they should undertake is to verify the tyre pressures.
  6. Retract it. The initial action they should undertake is to centralise the steering wheel.

  8. The inner tie rods possess an adjustable mechanism to guarantee that the steering wheel is centred. If misaligned, the steering wheel will be off-center. The probable culprit is that one of the rods is somewhat bent, rendering it slightly 'shorter'.This can be rectified through adjustment, namely by gently shortening the opposing side as well. The outcome will be a centralised steering wheel with a little tighter turning radius on one side than the other. The tie rod requires replacement alone if it is visibly bent; a slight bend is OK and can be adjusted as previously mentioned.

  10. Recently completed a four-wheel alignment, and the specifications indicate that everything is satisfactory. Is a steering adaption necessary for the vehicle's electronics to acknowledge the altered steering angle? The steering wheel remains slightly misaligned. Thank you very much
  11. Yesterday
  12. Haha cheers! Runs like a dream too. Glad I took the chance the whole experience was a lot smoother than I expected.
  13. I’ll admit, I was sceptical at first but seeing your update convinced me. Seems like Glenside Logistics are the real deal after all. Nice one, mate that Tiguan looks spot on! I appreciate you sending the DM photo Rob.
  14. Just got the car today! It looks brilliant super clean inside and out, all documents present including V5C, MOT certificate, and service record. Taking it to a mechanic tomorrow to double-check everything but first impressions are solid
  15. paid for the Tiguan yesterday, and this afternoon got an email confirming that delivery will be in around six days.
  16. I’ve just seen a Skoda Karoq SE L listed by Glenside Logistics on eBay. The price looked suspiciously low so I nearly skipped it then I came across this thread, after reading everyone’s experiences here I think I’ll give them a call. Cheers to everyone for sharing, you’ve probably helped a lot of people out.
  17. For what it’s worth Glenside Logistics are legit. I used to work in their finance department before relocating to Manchester last autumn. The repossessed vehicle side of the business is fairly new they started doing it mid-2023, buying cars directly from bank auctions. The money-back policy and segregated payment system are both genuine. They do it to give buyers peace of mind.
  18. Thanks everyone, appreciate all the info. I decided to go ahead just waiting for the invoice from them now. They’ve been responsive so far, so fingers crossed. I’ll update once I get the car.
  19. Same here I got a Volvo V60 R-Design from them just before Christmas. There was a small delay with delivery (it took about 10 days instead of 7), but the car came exactly as listed. I was nervous about paying upfront but I spoke to them on the phone several times and they sounded genuine, answered every question patiently. The payment goes into a segregated account, so they don’t actually receive it until you confirm delivery. That part reassured me.
  20. Hi all, I actually purchased a Nissan X-Trail Tekna from Glenside Logistics in November. It was a repo, but the car was immaculate. They gave me ten days to check everything once it arrived, so I took it to my local dealership in Nottingham. My mechanic said the car was in excellent condition no warning lights, no hidden issues. I rang Glenside Logistics the next day to confirm I was keeping it. Can’t fault them at all.
  21. If they demand a bank transfer before you’ve even seen the vehicle, that’s usually a red flag. Most scammers use that trick, they ask for money upfront, promise delivery, then disappear. Only a few proper companies (like Cinch or Cazoo) work remotely in a transparent way.
  22. I looked them up on Google and there are actually quite a few positive reviews about Glenside Logistics, mainly for their transport and haulage work. They appear to be a reputable company established in 2010 with trucks and drivers, not some pop-up website. Still, if you can view the car, that’s always the safest route.
  23. Ask if you can view the car in person. If they say it’s not possible or start giving excuses like “it’s in secure storage,” walk away there are plenty of fake listings on eBay and Facebook Marketplace where people lose thousands.
  24. Hi Rob, Never heard of Glenside Logistics before your post, but I’d be careful, lots of scam sites around lately. If the deal looks unreal, always double-check everything before sending a penny.
  25. Hi everyone, I hope this message finds everyone well. I'm curious if anyone here has had any experience with Glenside Logistics located in Belfast. I spotted a Volkswagen T-roc on eBay at a price that honestly seems too good to be true. They said it is a repo car from a finance recovery auction, which explains the discount, but they’re asking for payment upfront. They claim to use a segregated business company bank account it all sounds reasonable, but I’d rather check if anyone’s actually bought through them before. Cheers, Rob
  26. Last week
  27. They stated that I do not own a £250 voucher for my initial insurance claim; nonetheless, I received an email from Kia confirming that I am entitled to this benefit and should not overlook it. Do not be concerned about that. That is only obtainable through the third-party insurance company, not Kia. In the event of an accident, simply contact your insurance company. Utilising the third-party option will elevate your insurance company's excess, which is the whole purpose of the £250 coupon. The Kia Excess Return Voucher and Kia Accident Aftercare are offered by Car Care Plan Limited.
  28. No, my automobile was merely five months old at the time of purchase, thus there was no necessity for either.
