The NS has completely rusted through, therefore I will schedule an inspection. Thank you.
-
Get the dealer's inspection done first. If an error is detected, they will notify MB about your claim.
-
Could it be corrosion or a real breakdown of the subframe? The mere presence of corrosion will not be considered. Even while some dealers might do a better job with the claim, the decision is made by Mercedes GB, not the individual dealers. Some people have had their cars that are 10 years old rejected, while others have had their automobiles that are 15 years old or older fixed for free or provided a payment plan. There is no extra warranty; this is just goodwill. Keep that in mind.
-
There are a few lengthy discussions about it, with some people weighing in on specific dealerships' choices. If you want to read a lot about this, just do a Google search. My best to you! How terrifying.

Salutations everyone, Unfortunately, the rear subframe corrosion has taken hold of my S212 E class. The level of agreement on the good will offerings varies across the many posts I've seen on this. To begin, did you guys approach the matter by contacting MB UK? or just go to a main dealer without stopping? I was wondering if you might recommend any particular dealers. Being in the southwest, my local would be Exeter, followed by either Taunton or Plymouth. I would be grateful for any assistance.

At what point did you last change the spark plugs? If altered, would those be the right ones? Did you change the fuel filter recently?

Codes pertaining to the misfires will likely remain in place. Is a code reader available to you?

Missed EML, floored it again tonight, and everything appeared to be fine. About 180 xxx km. Have a day or two off, so I'm going to go for a nice drive. Just lately, I cleaned the injector. It misfired severely during that process, as if it were about to stall or stop but then turned off.
-
Is there power to the EML station? You'll need to know the error codes in order to conduct most things. An injector cleaner, like Redex, might be worth a shot, though. Do you happen to have the car's mileage?

My 2004 C180K m271 is fine up until I let go of the handle, at which point it starts misfiring and won't stop till I switch it off. Once it starts up again, I'm not sure what to check first. Any suggestions? The lowlifes just busted my door window in an attempt to take my radar detector. I'm upset with them.

I had a similar experience. Purchased a 2023 Kia Sportage GT-Line just before Christmas. Delivery took about nine days instead of the seven they originally estimated, but they kept me updated the whole time. The car arrived exactly as described in the listing and video.I was uneasy about paying upfront but I spoke with them twice on the phone before committing. They answered every question without rushing me. The segregated account part did give me some reassurance since they don’t release the funds until you approve the vehicle within the inspection window.
-
Bank transfer before you’ve even seen the car would normally be a warning sign. That’s how most scams operate. Money first, promise delivery, then silence only a handful of proper online vehicle retailers manage remote sales transparently, and even then people are cautious. I’d want everything clearly written in a contract.
-
First question I’d ask is whether you can see the vehicle in person, if they start saying it’s locked in a storage compound and can’t be viewed that would raise alarms for me. There are plenty of scam adverts on Marketplace and eBay where people send deposits and never see the car. Just be careful.

Additionally, smoke testing will undoubtedly reveal whether the throttle body area, brake boost, and crankcase breather pipe snap off.

Is that the short line that I've drawn here connecting the bypass valve's vacuum actuator to the horn side of the valve?
