  2. Hey everyone, I’m on looking for a first car for my daughter's birthday and noticed a 2022 Fiat 500 on FB Marketplace posted by Lamsam Logistics. At first blush I thought I was dealing with a private seller, but it turns out I’ve stumbled upon a Belfast based transport company that’s also in the business of selling repossessed vehicles. They’ve thrown their hat in the ring with home delivery to Somerset, promising it’ll be on your doorstep in a week to ten days. That all sounds like pie in the sky but I’m feeling a bit like a cat on a hot tin roof about shelling out cash before laying my eyes on the car. Has anyone walked this road before? Or did you actually bite the bullet and buy from them? I’m all ears to get the lowdown on the process, payment, and vehicle details. Your thoughts would be worth their weight in gold.

The hue is great for your car, my friend. The armrest gets dirty fast, so you might want to invest in a cover.

    Hello there!
  5. Thank you everyone. It will look great when it's clean, but it has started to become dirty already, but it still looks fine, I suppose.
  6. The shade described
  7. Impressive vehicle; I was considering purchasing one to replace my M340i, but ultimately decided to get an M5. My favourite shade of that

Salutations, everyone, This Tanzanite Blue M440i GC with an Oyster interior, tech and comfort packs, a driving assistant, a sunroof, and originally from West Yorkshire, is the first BMW that the owner has ever owned. Mostly, VAG and Mercedes have been my points of contact. I began my driving career in a 2006 Volkswagen Polo, moved on to a Golf not long after, had a C204 Mercedes, drove a Jag XE-S for six months (extremely unreliable), and have been driving a Mercedes W205 for the past five years. Impressed by the B58's ride quality. You have already done a few things to the car, such as hardwiring the dashcam into the ridiculous fusebox under the driver's dash, fixing a sunroof squeak with silicone grease, and adjusting the bump stops for a rattling hatch. By the way, I recently had it detailed and coated with a three-year ceramic finish.
  11. That's more than what I'm paid, friend. Whichever one is less expensive?
  12. Everything I've been considering so far is compatible with the MB requirements. Really, I'm at a loss for a decision.regarding the benefits of 0w 30 vs 5W 40.
  13. Also, the C220 is a diesel. The result of their tool was Shell Helix HX8 ECT 5w-40.
  14. According to your vehicle registration, Opie Oils has a decent search function. The latest 229.52 material or the older 229.51 MB standard (5w30) is required by the CLS. Does the 220 run on diesel or petrol? Removes all references to Mann, Hengst, MB, Bosch Mahle, and other well-known names. Every year, I shop around for the best deal.
  15. Even though I've changed the oil in my Mercs ad nauseam before, my brain has decided to have an epiphany and act foolishly when it comes to choosing the oil! My son's 61 plate C220 coupé (>80,000 miles) and my own Sept 2012 CLS 350CDi (<40,000 miles) both require an oil change. Shell Helix Ultra is probably one of my past products, but I can't place it. So, for vehicles that are out in the beautiful sunshine!Which version of Shell Helix Ultra do people prefer for shorter (6-25 mile) trips or longer (200 mile+) excursions along the south coast? These vehicles are often used in S-mode (C-class) and have a Stage 1 map. At the moment, I can't make up my mind between the Ultra 5W40, Ultra Diesel 5W40, and the 0W 30 Ultra ECT C2/C3. Have you any suggestions as to which one could work best? Furthermore, I would like to know which brand of filters individuals often use, as I am consulting with our service experts.to pick? The question of whether they are truly has always plagued me, but I have usually sided with Mann.justifiable to spend more on than competing brands like Bosch or Mahle? Much obliged.
  16. fully autonomous. skipped the main dealer after just a few vehicles. my wife's car, which I purchased for her from a dealership, has been going to merc, and two cars that I purchased brand new while they were still under warranty. There was a time when I went to the Honda dealer with my Honda.
  17. What I recently spent on diff service was as follows: 370 GBP for gearbox service, 79 GBP for electronic diff oil change, 53 GBP for brake fluid change and 340 GBP for AMG Petronas oil change.
  18. The ZF transmission's torque converter isn't the problem; it's the wet clutch. Under typical operating conditions, the wet clutch and gearbox share fluid, which results in the emission of numerous microscopic particles. That is why it is advised to change the fluid and filter more frequently.
  19. One of the other dealers responded to my request for bids with a jaw-dropping offer of 1,380 euros, which is one third of the first dealer's total. The offer was completely specified in writing. Completely out of control, therefore I've now scheduled an appointment with them.
  20. E63, 2019 with 30,000 miles: an A-service comprising ATF, two differentials, and plugs was quoted at £1950 by my local dealer last week. It provides a ballpark figure, but I have no idea why it included the extras in the price (maybe because they were completed ahead of schedule). Having said that, not all garages provide complimentary coffee and wifi.
  21. Plus, to be really honest with MB, even though BWM claims their automatic gearbox is "sealed for life," ZF suggests changing the oil and filter at approximately 60,000 miles. Actually, maybe with a hint of cynicism, BMW is more than happy to sell you the refresh kit to accomplish the task they claim isn't necessary 🙄.
  22. You risk damaging your vehicle if you disregard the requirement to change the oil in the differential and gearbox; there's a purpose to doing so that goes beyond merely accumulating mileage.
