The vehicle isn't here, and my son insisted on getting the guy new speakers because the old ones were so distorted; now I don't understand. This is a surprise birthday present for the man who expertly restored the leather steering wheel of the S124. I'll keep trying, but the main thing is, what size? Information will be provided as it occurs. They are reportedly at the front doors, according to a new update. Once more, what size are the replacements?

The W639 Vito Mixto Measurements of the front speakers
KnightNewscast replied to Lemmand's topic in General
I had a little trouble removing the front door liner, but I imagine it will be much simpler the next time around! It's quite large and cumbersome 🙂 We received our W639 with the rear speakers included in the Dualiner "comfort pack," which also included the rear trim panels. To keep the dogs from being overly startled, we've always kept the fader on front only. 😄 -
Seems like you're confused about something. In every entrance, you'll find a main speaker. On top of each of them is a tweeter. Take care not to rip the cabling to the tweeter when you remove the door card; the main speaker remains in the door, and the tweeter takes the card with it. The primary speaker can be simply unplugged, however getting to the bottom is a bit of a pain. The panels in the back cargo space are identical, depending on the 639 model. They stand out. The speaker grills are a great way to distinguish between them.

I was under the impression that these would be door speakers, so now I'm a little confused. It is not my vehicle. Even my son's friend, who owns the van, is clueless! Once we have more information, I will return.

Excuse me, my recollection isn't the best. Yet, the month of April 2020 was present. Regardless, I have attached the notes I took. Oops, copied from my XL file, so the layout is all messed up.
-
Does the specification determine whether the standard speakers are different? In my opinion, the 2007 Sound 20 sounded fine with its front and rear speakers and CD changer (how quaint!). It is unfortunate that you neglected to enquire about the size before, because I just removed the passenger door card to replace the electric window switch unit.
-
To that I am grateful. Were they a plug-and-play affair, requiring no middlemen? The diameter is 5 inches. For our W124, we used a 4.8-inch, plug-and-play design.
-
In a previous Vito, I installed Pioneer TS-R1350S speakers in their stead. Actually, I'd rather listen to other speakers.

Greetings to all, A friend of my son's has a Vito van. They are planning to purchase him a pair of front speakers to replace the ones he has. There's no way to measure the van because it's confidential. Are the speakers' dimensions known by anyone? We bought a decent pair of W124s for around 50€, but we don't know what size W639 would be best. Is anyone here? Thank you ahead of time.

That one is great, too. Could you tell me the name of the manufacturer of the kit, chain, and sprockets? We only have to rule out a few things. Just like Mike mentioned earlier, we also need to consider the end caps, which are BMW terminology for rectangular rings.
-
The default positions are 120 and 122 degrees, so when it goes like this, the oil pressure won't move the vanos sprocket and trigger a locked-out camshaft. The usual range for diagnostics-related adaption and spread values is 55 and 150, respectively. There are a lot of ways in which solenoids might fail; I just had a setback with one that kept loudly knocking at 95 degrees; it turned out that the solenoid was defective—a cheap, crappy one, I think. Only Pierburg or authentic will do from now on.

If the oil pressure is 55 psi, that's great. But how are you measuring it? Also, be careful with cheap gauges; they can be deceiving.
-
The entire set was changed. You seem unique, Vanos. We have strong base timing. For some reason, my adaptation numbers seem to go up when I disconnect the two vanos solenoids. The other peculiarity is the persistently high oil pressure.
-
Would you like me to confirm if you only had the chain replaced or if you also had the guides, vanos sprockets, and everything else?
-
127 km. Brand new chain.
-
The mesh may have collapsed and partially obstructed it, or perhaps the oil solenoid has failed. Someone or something connected to the common 12v (orange wire) supply might be at fault. Another possible cause is an internal breakdown of the vanos sprocket or a stretched chain that is not up to specification. Could you please tell me the mileage and whether the timing of the TC replacement with a complete OE/OEM kit was considered?

Hey there! I own a 07 N12 Mini. My exhaust vanos isn't working. P0014, in my opinion. While attempting to resolve the issue, I saw two things. 1. The oil pressure remains high at idle, at 55 psi, regardless of the temperature. Curious if there would be any problems with this. 2. The exhaust vanos adaptions self-correct to 51 degrees when I disconnect both solenoids. The exhaust adaptation goes out of spec by 34 degrees when plugged in. What do you think?

If you want to remove them without damaging the paint, all you need is a plastic trim tool. Just be sure to place a towel below before prying them off.
-
I appreciate it; are they easy to replace?
-
Ebay is brimming with these, some authentic and others knockoffs.

Is it easy to buy the black kidney grille for my 520i, which is a m sport model but has chrome accents? I want to paint or replace the faded center bridge between the grills. I am grateful.
