Bluetooth Problem with 2010 A207 E Class Convertible Phone Pairing?

I upgraded from an iPhone SE to an iPhone 16 not long ago, but I kept my number and used the same SIM card. Neither the new phone nor the A207 can detect each other, hence they are incompatible. The previous phone operated perfectly in the A207. Instead of COMAND, the vehicle has Audio 20.

Are any suggestions out there?

My E Class 'Vert Audio 20's PIN number is 0000.


For some reason, the ML's low-priced yet contemporary Android head unit connected the very first time I asked; I didn't even need a PIN number.
