What does the price of an A4 sheet with four years of membership cost?

At 20,000 kilometres, my 07/2022 E63S was last serviced with a B service in February 2025. Now, twelve months later, at 25,000 kilometres, I am scheduled for an A4 service, as per the timetable.

This morning, I was advised that, due to the vehicle's age (four years), I would need to change the A oil as well as the spark plugs, gearbox oil, differential oil, and transfercase oil. The total cost of these parts would be three thousand euros...!

Having to change all this at this low miles is alarming to me because I am used to driving BMW M cars with the ZF transmission. I am inclined to just get the oil changed and disregard the rest.

Are the pricing (not UK ones, I know) reasonable in comparison to what you have been quoted, and does the above seem to be accurate?

As far as parts go, that is an astronomically expensive quote.
I had the ATF, front and rear diff fluids changed in September at an independent Mercedes specialist for a third of that price. I got the car serviced in September.
You might expect a hefty sum when you factor in the dealers' 250 Euro per hour work charge.

To get the ATF, differentials, and plugs done, I would take it to the dealer for the A service and then locate a Star specialist who can update the DSB. A lot less money will be spent.

Plus, to be really honest with MB, even though BWM claims their automatic gearbox is "sealed for life," ZF suggests changing the oil and filter at approximately 60,000 miles.
Actually, maybe with a hint of cynicism, BMW is more than happy to sell you the refresh kit to accomplish the task they claim isn't necessary đŸ™„.

E63, 2019 with 30,000 miles: an A-service comprising ATF, two differentials, and plugs was quoted at £1950 by my local dealer last week. It provides a ballpark figure, but I have no idea why it included the extras in the price (maybe because they were completed ahead of schedule).
Having said that, not all garages provide complimentary coffee and wifi.

One of the other dealers responded to my request for bids with a jaw-dropping offer of 1,380 euros, which is one third of the first dealer's total. The offer was completely specified in writing. Completely out of control, therefore I've now scheduled an appointment with them.

The ZF transmission's torque converter isn't the problem; it's the wet clutch. Under typical operating conditions, the wet clutch and gearbox share fluid, which results in the emission of numerous microscopic particles. That is why it is advised to change the fluid and filter more frequently.

What I recently spent on diff service was as follows: 370 GBP for gearbox service, 79 GBP for electronic diff oil change, 53 GBP for brake fluid change and 340 GBP for AMG Petronas oil change.

fully autonomous.

skipped the main dealer after just a few vehicles. my wife's car, which I purchased for her from a dealership, has been going to merc, and two cars that I purchased brand new while they were still under warranty. There was a time when I went to the Honda dealer with my Honda.
