Greetings. I possess the iCarsoft MB V2, but I no longer own a Mercedes. Given that the hardware is identical, might this be upgraded to a Pro version capable of servicing all vehicles?

You are significantly better off purchasing the iCarsoft CR Pro Plus.
After years of purchasing separate Icarsoft brands, I invested in the CR Pro Plus, a superior device that comprehensively covers most brands.
Unless it is your profession, this should be the sole diagnostic instrument you ever require purchasing.


While alternatives exist, I believe its capabilities offer exceptional value.

I sold mine on eBay for £115 and acquired a Topdon ArtDiag900, which is vastly superior in all aspects.

Each unit possesses a unique serial number that must correspond with the license on the SD card. Transferring the licence file from a pro to an mb2 using my laptop was ineffective.

I acquired the 500 for £50. Significantly superior to Icarsoft. Fundamental yet superior, in my opinion. Do all cars, not limited to Mercedes, also exhibit this characteristic?
