FreexPatty
Greetings to everyone, With much assistance from everyone, my 2018 SE Tech has been exceptional after resolving early concerns with the thermostat and actuators. It has successfully passed two MOTs without any problems and is a pleasure to drive. I am now focused on the future, since it has reached £138,000. (mostly before to my acquisition, however it is entirely pristine both internally and externally) and I am uncertain how much longer it will remain cost-effective. The P300e would be an ideal choice for my next vehicle when the time comes for a change; but, I am apprehensive owing to the many HVHC concerns I have seen in discussions here. I have also seen folks stating it is the finest automobile they have ever drove or owned.I ask owners to share their opinions on whether they would suggest the P300e after having a favorable experience with the diesel Evoque. I am particularly interested in hearing from people who have accomplished it. 🙂
Boxck
I can only commend my P300e. I have been really satisfied with it. I first encountered alleged HVHC issues, as indicated by the dealership technician; nevertheless, it ultimately transpired that the problem was readily resolved with a simple software update. might it be that several individuals who changed their HVHC might have resolved the issue with a simple software update? I leave the inquiry unresolved...
HeadlinesQuick
My last Evoque was a P300e. Despite encountering two issues during my ownership (HVHC and BJB), which rendered it inoperable for a month due to the BJB being on back order, it demonstrated considerable reliability and economic efficiency, particularly when using low-rate nighttime electricity. In late March 2025, I exchanged my P300e for a P270e, seeing no discernible difference in performance. This vehicle has shown to be very dependable, having returned to the garage just once for a recall that could not be completed due to a recent cyber assault; I am currently on a waiting list. HeadlinesQuick
The P300e/P270e Evoque is very comfortable, powerful, and economical to use; I would unequivocally suggest it.
tr4s
I own the E-Pace P300e, which has the same engine and powertrain as the Evoque. Extremely satisfied with the vehicle. Comparatively cost-effective, has enough power when required, and offers an excellent driving experience.
WannaVulture
Proceed with caution. The P300e performs well when operational; nonetheless, the HVHC (high voltage hybrid coolant) heater malfunction is a prevalent and costly defect. If you are determined to get one, acquire the latest model within your budget that has the most extensive manufacturer's warranty to address that particular issue. Absence of a guarantee is a significant financial risk.
NameInterest
As I said in the preceding article, I remain confident that the majority of the HVCH issues could have been rectified only by a software update. If I were uninformed about mechanical, I would have been deceived at the dealership with estimates beyond €5000. On both occasions I visited the dealership with distinct vehicles, they attempted to provide estimates for components that ultimately did not need replacement. I like Range Rover, but from a prudent distance from the showrooms. I have purchased the dongle to access Topix Cloud and I am doing the task independently.
