Interruption of service on iDrive

Hi everybody,
I've seen a vehicle but allegedly all tye service history is gone on the system? Anyone have this problem previously as I've attempted to search but couldn't find anything?

I have heard of service history vanishing from iDrive before, but it was attributed to someone using software to manipulate the past, if I recall correctly.
Is it being sold by a private individual or a trader?

The 2017 vehicle has 65,000 miles, but the vendor claims there is no record of any history on the iDrive system, which I find peculiar, prompting me to investigate the reason for this discrepancy. 🤔

Does the vendor own any documented proof of the servicing history, since it is not consistently recorded in iDrive? I would, however, anticipate some BMW submissions from when the vehicle was practically new and under warranty.
Consider enquiring with a dealer for any historical records in the system.
If you cannot get any proof via invoices or by consulting a dealer, I would recommend seeking an other vehicle.
